i've known my best friend for almost two and a half years now, and i have some hilarious pictures and memories from the past bit. also some serious ones and all that. anyway, i want to somehow incorporate everything he and i have been through into some sort of gift to be able to give him at the end of high school (we're juniors right now). but i'm kind of blanking on good ideas. i want to make sure it can have all of our inside jokes and all that, and be something he can keep forever, you know? any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are 3 basic things you can do.
If you have a lot of pictures, scrapbook! Go out and buy some double sided tape, stickers, paper, and acid free pens, along with a nice album. Make borders for the pictures and write captions. This can be hard to do though- it's one of those things where you're either great at it or you suck at it.
Or you can make a collage. Do this by getting a piece of posterboard, making a title, and pasting the pictures all around it with captions. This is fairly similar to scrapbooking, though.
My favorite is to make a memory box. Get a wooden box from the craft store and paint it white. Make color copies of your pictures and glue them all around the outside of the box, and type up some of your inside jokes and glue them on. Inside the box, put souveniers like dance or movie tickets, notes, etc.

make him a scrapbook with all of the good memories and pictures that you hav in it. write under the pictures inside jokes that u associate with them. fill up most of the book

make a scrapbook. those would allways be greatifts and just write your insiders by the the picture it fits.he will always remember you and yalls fun yall had together if he sees a picture. a picture is worth a 1000 words! -lauren

I have a great idea!! Make a portfolio with all your pictures starting with the oldest to the most recent.. Get construction paper and make each one have different designs on them and put the pictures on there with the pictures going at different angles. Then put all the papers inside of those clear sheet things with holes punched in the sides( they are called sheet protectors.. you can find them at walgreens or wal-mart) Then at the end put a most recent picture there with the both of you.. and then put a friendship quote at the bottom.. Go buy like a scrapbook or one of those photo album books with the full pages. Then you can put all your pictures in there and write quotes, jokes, etc. next to, underneath or above the pictures. Design it however you would like to, go crazy! It'll look great when you are done. And if you have room left at the end of the book, you can just tell him that he can put in more pictures that he has or whatever to fill it up! Hope it turns out great :P

That's a wonderful idea. Good for you, your friendship with him sounds rare and special. They sell these really neat scrapbooks in stores that have places for you to put pictures and sayings and all kinds of stuff to get your creative energies flowing. I own one, myself. Have fun putting that together, whatever you decide to do!!

Ok thats awesome. So this mite be a little hard but it would be awesome. You could take all of your pictures and make them into a mosaic of you and him. That would be AWSOME! He would love it!

Make a scrapbook! Also, you can like knit a blanket can somehow sew on the pictures onto the blanket like in that movie Stepmother - or Stepmom - ( i think that is what is called with Julia Roberts). I hoped i helped!! :)

Well you could put together a photo album with comments next to all the pics. Or buy a book with a bunch of blank pages and you can paste all the pics into it and write what you want next to everything like a diary. I hope i helped you out a little bit
