I talk to the guy I like alot on AIM and alot in school. We're great friends but it seems like I always IM HIM! I don't know if he doesn't want to talk to me but when I IM him we usually get into long conversations but he never starts them. It's always me. Is this a hint he doesn't want to talk to me? If it then why do we always talk up a storm? Pleae help!!

Guys have trouble starting conversations because they are afriad they will bore a girl with what they want to talk about!! So don't worry.. he probally likes that you start it and find what to talk about!!

Maybe he's just afraid to talk to u. Maybe he's nervous and doesnt know what to say to u. Obviously, if he sticks around long enough to have a really long conversation with u, and if that happens frequently, then I dont think he doesnt want to talk to u.

well i mean are you guys friends? lyke close? the fact tht you always im him doesnt mean to say tht he dont like you or tht he dont wanna talk to you. mayb he wants to see tht you really care about him so he waits for you to im him..mayb he thinks tht if he ims you..you mite not want to talk..ut wen you im him..he realizes tht you do wanna talk so thts y you guys both have great conversations cuz you both are willing to talk..yah kno? he probably only does it cuz he doesnt want to like bother you..and he mite feel the same way you do, if he was the one iming you. you just have to talk to him and b like..well yah kno do you lyke not wanna talk to me cuz everytyme i im you..like i mean theres never a tyme you im me..i just wanna kno cuz i dont wanna bother you..you gotta say sumfin lke tht too see the truth..raTe mE!

Ummm guys are like that. They ALL are like that. I know about 120 guys on my buddy list and i talk a storm with them! But i ALWAYS got to i.m them first. Gurls we just i.m away. Guys only i.m guys. GUYS ARE WEIRD! Dont ask lol. If u talk long convo's he deff. wants to talk to you. Guys who always say hold on and disappear and dont answer you for like 20mins! Then you got problems. other then that ur fine.

No it's not that he doesn't want to talk to you it's just that guys tend to be lazy sometimes in opening a simple thing called a Buddy list and double clicking on the girls name. So I hope that I helped you.

maybe he just doesnt want to let you know that he likes talking to you or something. Dont fret he could be playing video games or something and not look at the screen unless he hears the little IM noise thing.. hah.. yeah its okay as long as its two people in the conversation

I had the same problem with a guy. I think u should be careful but still have fun with him. Make sure u dont start liking him because many times a guy acts diff on aim than at school. Dont im him everytime ure signed on but every couple of days is fine. Ask him if he minds if he sais no then have fun and if it ends up bad that means hes jus not "friend" material. Hope it helps.

hey that happens to me to! I always have to bring up a conversation with people otherwise they wont talk. i think you should not talk once in a while and see if he brings up anything. I think he mite want to talk to you bc he has been anyways. guys are always so odd you always have to start a conversation with them it doesnt mean they dont like you! hope this helped!

i was actually recently having a really similar problem...and i finally just convinced myself that guys are just as shy as we are sometimes, and just as afraid of rejection. one of my best guy friends once told me that its kind of divided up fairly- if you always im a guy first, if u guys talk on the phone, he'll be the one to call. or vice versa... if your having awesome conversations with this guy, than i wouldn't worry about it all : )..leave me one in my inbox if u need anything else

No, he isn't trying to push you away or anything because he actually talks to you. =) It's normal and there's nothing to worry about! He's probably just lazy, shy, or he likes for other people to IM him first. Most of my friends are the same way, even my boyfriend! I'm normally the first one to IM them =) So, don't worry about it. I don't think this is a hint at all... He's probably just really shy. If once you started talking it seemed like you were doing all the talking then i would say he probably doesn't wanna talk... but you said you get in long conversations. Don't worry about it, just keep starting the conversations and maybe eventually he'll do it...
