intricatexx answered Wednesday November 17 2004, 7:17 pm: do you mean like a birth certificate? I don't think there's a site for that. your parents should have a copy of your birth certificate. I had to have mine for school and my mom couldn't find it, so she went to the health department, where they should make you a copy of it for you, but you have to pay for it. although I'm not really sure how you could get one since you were born in minnesota and live in california now. like everyone else said, try going to the hospital where you were born. Zach_Attack answered Wednesday November 17 2004, 12:15 am: if you can, ask your parents. if not, the only way to get records is to go to the hospital you were born at or to the DMV, where they have this thing that stores birth certificates. they dont have a site for that kind of stuff because birth records are too personal incase someone were to hack the site. if this is an extreme need of birth information, you can always contact the FBI. PerkyPeacock answered Tuesday November 16 2004, 10:17 pm: i don't think they store them in a database where you can just print out a birth certificate, i would try talking to your parents about it, or maybe a clerk type person at a hospital or city hall [ PerkyPeacock's advice column | Ask PerkyPeacock A Question ]

MFS answered Tuesday November 16 2004, 9:47 pm: You must get those from the hospital in which you were born. Having those open on a website would be a HUGE breach of privacy and cause yet another way people could perform identity theft. You'll have to find out the name of the hospital you were born at and then contact that hospital. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
