This is a really.. stupid.. question.. but.. here goes anyway:
I want to buy some condoms (im a girl) and i think its kind of embarrassing.. i mean.. i dont want everyone to know im having sex. I cant drive.. and if my sis or parents found out i was buying them.. they would KILL me.. Anyway.. when i work up the nerve to buy them.. whats the best kind to buy... i prefer lifestyles or trojan.. so whats the best.. and cheapest at that.. to buy

well its understandable that your embarres that everyone might find out your having sex, but as far a condoms go i think its great that your willing to protect yourself and that special someone ;-). dont cheap out on condoms or you might have to cheap out on diapers, baby food, doctors bills ...ect. as a male i have heard trojans are the best. dont worry about the store they will do nothing but tryto make the sale as descrite as possible. have fun :)

My viewpoint has always been that if you're not ready to buy condoms you’re not ready to have sex. Of course, it's good to see you asking advice about this issue.
Trojan condoms are rarely ranked as the best in objective studies, although they are the most widely available in the United States. I would discourage purchasing them because Trojan has refused to stop using a spermicidal lubricant that contains Nonozonyl-9, a chemical that has been linked to vaginal irritation, which has the potential to create pathways for STDs to enter the body. Trojan is virtually the only manufacturer to refuse to pull this lubricant, which tells me that their concern for safety is secondary to their concern for profits. If you do choose their products (it may be your only option) avoid Nonoxonyl-9. Durex is a European condom that is still widely available in the US and consistently praised for safety and feeling. If you're able to get some, I recommend them.
However, all brands of condoms will help protect you. The most important part of using condoms is reading the instructions that some with them to make sure you’re using the correctly. Condoms are only effective if you use them right.
I would also encourage you (since you expressed that price is a concern) to check with an agency in your area that provides free condoms. It may be a local health center, and HIV/AIDS treatment center, or any other organization concerned about safe sex. They may be able to make arrangements for you to get free condoms, even though you don’t drive, and teach you how to use them.

If you have a Planned Parenthood around where you live.. you can go there and get Lifestyles for free!! And if ur gunna buy them.. Get Trojan.. I think they are more reliable.. lol even though I've only used Lifestyles.. Either one really.. just be careful babe! OH! And if you've got a Planned Parenthood by where you live.. Well, a box of condoms usually ranges from 46 to $10 dollars (IN Canada) so they are pretty cheap. If you like Lifestyles and Trogan go with them. Another good kind is Durax. But the prices are different according to what kind of condom you want. Exotic colors, flavored, studded and extra sensitive would be more expensive then the regular, lubricated stuff. Anyways ... have fun. lol

Trojan works best, I think. UmM..they are kind of expensive and dont feel embarrased! Its natural, and it shows that you are responsible enough to protect yourself!

Who is somebody you trust? Ask them for help. I know it seems embarrassing but it won't after you get it out. You may be ready for sex, and if so, you need condoms. You should not be embarrassed about it.

Hey. I prefer Durex over Trjoan and I haven't used Lifestyles. Don't get the ribbed ones, they hurt like hell!! The ones with spermacide on them can really irriate also, so I'd reccomend the "ultra thin" ones, but deffiantly a lubed one, because the ones without it, hurt like hell as well. I think it's great that you are trying to prevent STD's and pregancy, so don't listen to the people who call you a whore. I get mine at Wal-Mart, they range anywhere from $2.OO on up. If you can't do that, try to find a Planned Parenthood in your area, they will give out free condoms and generally they will give out birth control based on an income. Good luck and have fun =)

Either one is good, but I also recommend getting one with spermicidal lubricants, for added protection against pregnancy. Don't buy into those ribbed for added pleasure things; they're a hoax. If you can't find a way to get condoms without being caught, you might try your school nurse or having a friend take you to a birth center. Those places hand out huge bags of free condoms. Also, you could always get some free condoms from trojan.com and have them mailed somewhere that your folks won't find them, such as an older friends house. Good luck.

Well, the kind I would prefer to use, would be torjans, I don't know how much they cost, but you can always get free condoms at the health department, or doctors office. And I'm so glad that even though you are having sex, you are practicing safe sex. Check both you and the guy to make sure neither of you have STD's. Hey, if you're going to have sex, at least have safe sex.

I think that you should go with say your friends or someone and if you have like a CVS or something in your mall go to the movies and say you want to stop in there. Then by some other things as well so that its not obvious that thats what you came for. Buy Trojan, they might not be the cheepest but still, you want to have a good time right? lol

Trojan is "americas most trusted condom" so get that. You can buy them in big packs or packs of like 1,2 or 3. When your at the store just look for the cheapest trojan ones. And dont worry-the people that work there arent going to say anything to you. At least your being safe
