Question Posted Friday November 12 2004, 11:53 am

If I start exercising almost every morning for 30-60 minutes by walking and I start doing Pilates and also start eating healthy, how long do you think it will take to lose some weight and get skinnier? Thanks!! :)

pilates really helps trim you down, but id say the all time helper for weight loss (excersize wise) is cardio cardio cardio.. and time wise, it depends on what you consider healthy, how much u weigh now, and what your metabolism is. a healthy goal is 2lbs a week

Oh not very long at all. But you do have to be patient... don't give up after two weeks, results can be slow. But definitely have vigorous excecise daily until you "feel the burn" and cut out fatty/sugary foods, greasy foods, and "junk food" and you will lose wait and tone up nicely. :)

hey! it takes a few weeks to see the result. but you should see it result, what you're doing is good, if you're doing it on a daily basis you'll definitely become thinner in a few weeks. it takes time. peace and love!

Hopefully you should slim down in a little more than a month, although it varies for some people. You might see a little progress very early on, or maybe not. I depends on your body and how much you are exercising and dieting.
Hope I helped :-D

PerkyPeacock answered Friday November 12 2004, 12:50 pm:
well, you might not notice a lot of weight loss at first, because you're losing fat and gaining muscle which weighs more. give it a few weeks, then you'll start getting a lot more tone and it'll look great. have fun chica

Well it depends on how much you weigh now. if you are very overweight, you actually lose lots more in a week then someone who only wants to lose 5 lbs. So I really cant tell how much and how long so just do your best and i bet you will notice a change in 1 or 2!!!
~Hope this helps*Stephanie

Not long at all so long as you don't miss any. Your diet/exercise routine needs to be constant for the best results. I'm guessing you'll notice a difference in no time, but there's no telling how fast you'll lose weight. Everyone is different.
