For most people, yes. When you are on birth control, it tricks you body into being pregnant. Sometimes people loose weight, but 9 times out of 10 people gain weight over loosing weight.

It is, unfortunately, one of the possible side effects. However, it does not happen to everyone. Didn't happen to me, for instance. I just spotted for a month...*grumble*

Well it could but than again, it couldn't. It probably depends how strong the pill is. Most girls usually don't gain weight. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about this? Hope I helped :)

This is a question for your doctor. There are a shit load of different kinds of birth control's, and they are all pretty much pumping a bunch of hormones into you. And it also depends on your body type and whether or not you are already prone to gaining weight. Even if you do gain weight, it's likely to be only ten-fifteen pounds. Considering that your likely to get pregnant if you don't use birth control, then you would be gaining a lot more weight without birth control. Ask your doctor about the specific kind of birth control that you are interested. And he/she can tell you the different options you have.

mii friends on birthcontrol nd theres alot of diff kinds .. hers makes her boobs nd but get a tad bit bigger but there are ones that make u gain weight i guess it depends on how strong they are ask ur docter
