MummuM answered Wednesday September 1 2004, 12:08 am: It's totally normal. We had to get shots at school last year in our shoulder, up at the top. It didn't hurt at all but how ever, when I woke up the next day I couldn't move my arm... it was so weak. Don't worry about it, it's probably just the shot you got. It shouldn't last long, maybe a couple of days. =) [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]

I dont think that it is "abnormal" i think that it is totally normal. It usually hurts a couple of days after. Have you ever heard the saying," It always hurts the day after."
youONLYliveONCE answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 7:11 pm: if this is a tetnist shot than dont worry its completely normal. that happened to me too when i had to get stitches.it should only last a few days, if not you might want to talk to your doctor. dont worry tho youll be fine [ youONLYliveONCE's advice column | Ask youONLYliveONCE A Question ]

Karen answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:43 pm: Don't worry, it's perfectly normal! Your vein is very sensetive right now because fluids were shoved into it. If you got your Tetnus shot, it's supposed to hurt the day after you go it. The pain sould go away in a day or two. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
Luscious_Kisses15 answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:39 pm: i don't know what shot you got, but it doesn't really matter, even though, it was probably a tetnus shot, or a flu shot. Um, they should have told you to move your arm around a lot so it doesn't hurt the next day. So what i would do right now, is move your arm a lot like in circle's and do it whenever you think about it. Otherwise the pain will around like 3-4 days. But if you start moving it around a lot, then hopefully it will stop hurting tomorrow night. And yeah, i'm not a doctor, but that's happened to me before, and it's always been perfectly normal. joolaygurl89 answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:15 pm: It's perfectly normal, it happens all the time. The vein that they pushed the medicine into is sensitive right now because it just had fluid shoved into it. It's fine and will go away in a day or two. liddylflirtx3 answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:07 pm: You probably got a Tetnus (I'm not sure how to spell it, but it sounds like that) shot. Those don't hurt at all the first day, but the next morning it is perfectly normal to have your arm feel like it has a bruise. It should last about 2 days. But don't be worried if it lasts longer!
Sherry answered Tuesday August 31 2004, 6:04 pm: Its normal, it wont hurt when you get the shot but after it kills you...it'll take a few days..dont worry!:) [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
