i dont have a boyfriend for my prom and i dont have any friends that are guys (or girls) to go with either ... I know its early but Im not gonna get a b/f cause i dont really want one but i want ot go to prom but nor alone!! help

i went alone. it was depressing. but all of my friends were coupled off. i think it would be a TON of fun if you went with a group of people that werent couples, but it sucks to be the only one without a date. regardless of the reasons, you still feel like a loser when everyone is slowdancing, and youre sitting by the wall alone. i cried. i wish i had just not gone. i could've spent all that money on something that i enjoyed, rather than a poofy dress.

You have to be outgoing..that's the only way. I'm not outgoing or anything...but, just ask a boy you like or make some friends and ask if they're going and who they're going with...you can always meet some people there or something...

ask your friends if they know anyone that's nice and that could take you. if you have a job, then ask a co-worker ( that you would want to go with) if he would like to attend the prom with you. or you could just ask a guy at your school that you may want to go with.

I suggest you go to prom with a group of your girl friends. You don't HAVE to have a date/a guy to go to prom with.
Before last year, I'd never had a date for a dance in my life, but I still went. It can be a lot of fun to go with your friends.

Well since you said you don't have that many guy friends, try to meet some and become friends with them. Once you get to know them better, ask them to the prom. Or you could just go to the prom with your girl friends. But since you said you don't have that many of them either, there's nothing you can really do. Just try to make more friends this year and you'll be going to the prom with someone in no time! Hope I helped :)

well, as the year goes along, you might make new friends and see if you can take one of them along. also, you never know, someone might end up asking you to go as their date, so i dont think you should worry about it just yet. a lot of people in highschool dont really think about prom until about 2 months away, so be patient and im sure youll find someone to go with.

If you want to go to the prom why don't you ask some of your girlfriends to go with you they might want to go too but not by themselves.
