Your legs are sore because they aren't used to that much work, but if you have to do these exercises everyday then your muscles will get used to it. After a few days, it won't hurt anymore. In the mean time, soaking in a hot bath will relieve some of the pain.

well you should start going to the gym and doing your own work outs, then it wont be so hard during gym! i was in HORRIBLE shape, i couldnt even run 1 lap around the track, now i can run to at least 3 miles w/o having to walk and thats about 2 months of the gym, stretch A LOT and just try going to the gym, its a lot of fun and makes you have more self confidence.. believe me :)

Try stretching, I know it sounds crazy, but strectcing, like in dance, helps your muscles become stretched out and they wont be as sore. it also helps for cramps. lol Well thats really all i know so :)

crazy_beautiful_ answered Thursday August 26 2004, 9:35 pm:
you could try these....take 2 tylenol when they hurt...stretch rite after you run and when you get home everyday because that helps the muscles you worked out....eat healthy and drink a lot before you run to keep hydrated.....on days that you have off dont sit around do a little jog and some other stuff so your muscles dont tighten up again.

your body's not used to it. Just make sure you stretch before you do all that stuff and afterwards when your home or something relax until you get adjusted to the exercising. And drink plenty of water.

i just started playing football for my highschool so i know how you feel. we are pushed a lot and sometime you want to give up but truley the only way to make it easier is to not give up, make sure your coach gives you water, your body wont appear to be dehydrated but inside its not running as well as it should, just drink water and dont give up.

As you go along it'll get easier if not for awhile. What you can do though is get heating pads or put ice on your legs. Also, you can take a warm bath or shower, which will relax you. It'll help to stretch after your gym class so your legs won't hurt as much. I hope I helped!

Make sure you stretch before and after warming up. After a while, from doing all these warmups, you'll become more fit and there will be less pain. Hope I helped :)
