It's a disorder where a person will have HUGE mood swings, like, they'll be really happy one minute, and then all of a sudden they're all depressed-ish for no apparent reason.

Bipolar is a type of depression..its where your mood changes rapidly like your happy one second and completely mad or sad the next..its a mood dissorder kinda..if your wanted to a lot more about it check with a doctor...hope i helped

Bipolar is a disease. Its where a person has rele bad mood swings. Like rele bad, one minute they are happy and then literally, the next second they are very angry. also, they become so depressed at times that they feel they can never be happy again. people have to take special medication for it to stop the swings. I learned about bipolar from MTV, they had a True Life about it. I'll bet they still show it on MTV2 or tell about it on mtv.com. hope i helped!

It essentially means sporadically changing mood swings from one extreme to another. It is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, and is easily treatable. Some people have very mild cases of it and do not need medicated, while others who are more extreme very much need medicated.
