Get a seperate notebook + folder for each class. If they're the right size, you can just keep your notebook in your folder .. or if you want, the other way around. If you REALLY want to be obsessively organized, you can get a little binder for each class. Make sure to keep all of your books + stuff organized in your locker so that you don't have to search for things + wind up being late for class. If you want, get a shelf for in the bottom of your locker. Get a pencil bag thing if you want, or you can just keep pens + pencils in a pencil cup or something on the shelf -- that always seems easier to me. Get a locker organizer thing with a mirror and everything if you want. Aaaand, make sure to use your assignment book. Don't worry about the lock thing -- you'll get used to it after the first week or so. Good luck! =)

Hey there!

Although it would seem like a hard thing to do but trust me there are simple ways to make your life easier....

* Buy Folders just for sticking your assignments. Different colors the better.

* Buy address book so that you can write or jot down the phone number or addresses of your friends/classmates.

* Buy an organizer--it has everything in it. To do lists, calendar, weekly assignments, and etc.
(This one is the complete one that you need). If you can't afford the expensive onces there are other stores that you can get it for a cheaper price.

* Lastly, you can try to download PIM online. They got good softwares others for freeware (free) and shareware (try it before you buy it).

I hope these helps!

I would suggest a different binder for each class. It's easy for your locker to get really messy because in 9th grade thats when the pace picks up. You have to rush between your classes to get there in time to be sure not to get detention and I suggest you hurry your butt whenever! Don't stop to gab in the hallway, that will get you in trouble. Anyways, keeping your locker neat won't be easy especially if you have to change for gym, you have to put your clothes in there, your books, your binders/trapper if you have one, pens and pencils and its easy to get all messy with bookbags and jackets and so on. It's gonna be hard for you to stay organized, you just have to do the best you can.

Get shelves for your locker, organize your books so they are in the order of your classes, get an assignment notebook and write down everything, don't throw trash or old papers in your locker, throw them away or keep them in a folder. Hope that helps!

I'm going to be a freshman too!! Well you should buy locker shelves for your locker and some magnectic pen holders too. For work organization buy binders, it would help if they were all different colors too just so you can tell them apart from each subject. It's also important to keep your schedule with you so you don't get lost and beforehand go over your schedule with your friends, so you'll have people to walk with from each class.

I'm going to attempt this, even though I'm the most disorgainzed person I've ever met. Since I was a freshman last year, I'm going to say what I did that you can avoid.

Things to Avoid:

* Avoid sticking papers in your books
* Avoid keeping a folder for everything (unless you are orgainzed enough to do that) If you aren't, just have one folder to keep all your homework and assignments in it.
* Avoid putting off big assignments (essays, projects...ect)until the last minute..even if you do work better under pressure.
* Avoid borrowing books from others.
* Figure out how much time it takes you to get to your locker...to whichever class you need to get to. This will help you in the future.
Good luck

its not to hard to stay organized... just dont throw you stuff in your locker, as for keeping your notebooks organizd, get separaters for every subject your taking and put your papers in the correct spot. back to the locker, maybe go out to a store and see what they have there for lockers... you can buy sumin that has little pockes in it for pens and calculators and maybe even a mirron... you can buy this and it would be another way to keep sum stuff organized

I was insanely unorganized throughout most of my high school days. I eventually found that the trick to breaking this is minimalism. Try the simplest and most repetitive methods of going about your school day. Keep folders handy, and throw away useless papers as fast as possible.
