xOchErrytWistOx answered Thursday August 19 2004, 1:21 pm: Don't worry! It's your bodys natural cycle! It can vary how long you get your period. Once you've had your period, for maybe a year or so, you will know exactly how long it will last and how much blood u have on each of the days. As you get older, it will regulate and start to become more normal (probably a 5 day cycle). You don't have anything to worry about!

Its nothing to worry about and its perfectly normal. Talk to your mom about it im sure she would tell you anything you need to know. or if you need anything else drop me one in my inbox.

I know this was my problem too... Sometimes I got my period 2 times a months! Horrible huh? But to tell you the truth: IT'S JUST YOUR BODY'S HORMONES! NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!

alisonmarie answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 2:26 pm: It's very common for the menstrual cycle to be really irregular when you first get it - some people get it every 28 days like clockwork, some people only get it every few months.
It's not only when you get your period that's inconsistent, but how long it lasts. You might bleed for 5 days straight, or stop suddenly one day only to start back up again that night.
It's completely normal and nothing to worry about, but if you have severe cramping or bloodshed, then go see a doctor. And as with any medical worry - if you're concerned, it's best to see a professional that can set your mind at rest. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]
