Don't worry! It's your bodys natural cycle! It can vary how long you get your period. Once you've had your period, for maybe a year or so, you will know exactly how long it will last and how much blood u have on each of the days. As you get older, it will regulate and start to become more normal (probably a 5 day cycle). You don't have anything to worry about!

Well if your just starting out then its no big deal, your periods wont regulate for qutie a few years. and even when you have them longer it can still be effected by stress, dieting, working out, or a lot of different things. Its nothing to worry about and its perfectly normal. Talk to your mom about it im sure she would tell you anything you need to know. or if you need anything else drop me one in my inbox.

Don't worry about it. It is perfectly normal for your period to be irregular when you first start. It can sometimes take up to a year for it to become regular.

Nothing drastic is happening... It's just your hormones... And you just got yours 2 months ago so your hormones are still fluctuating... I know this was my problem too... Sometimes I got my period 2 times a months! Horrible huh? But to tell you the truth: IT'S JUST YOUR BODY'S HORMONES! NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!

This is normal, don't worry! Your body is just regulating your period! It happens in all girls when they're young (I'm assuming that your like.. 12-14) Don't sweat this, this is normal.. it's all part of growing up! Hope I helped! -Ce

This is normal since you just started. Your body is getting used to the fact that you have a period also so you have nothing to worry about. It will be irregular for a while. I hope this helps!

alisonmarie answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 2:26 pm:
It's very common for the menstrual cycle to be really irregular when you first get it - some people get it every 28 days like clockwork, some people only get it every few months.

It's not only when you get your period that's inconsistent, but how long it lasts. You might bleed for 5 days straight, or stop suddenly one day only to start back up again that night.

It's completely normal and nothing to worry about, but if you have severe cramping or bloodshed, then go see a doctor. And as with any medical worry - if you're concerned, it's best to see a professional that can set your mind at rest.
