I could never manage 6 meals a day -- I barely have the time // appetite for one or two, but for some people, eating 5-6 small meals a day is better. I think it's whatever works for you. You may get hungerier before or after one of your little meals, so you might end up having 7 or 8 little meals which is more than three big ones, making it the unhealthier choice. [ spirit250's advice column | Ask spirit250 A Question ]

selectopaque answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 6:13 pm: Yes, it's very true. Your stomach is only as large as your fist, so you only need to eat enough in one filling to fill your stomach. Any more than that is only going to make your stomach expand more. Also, eating more often will keep your matabolism up, without making it so you gain weight because they are smaller meals.
