i was in your place last year. I was certified,i loved kids. but this summer i have been babu=ysitting like crazy. you should get some babysitting cards made and hand them out at your church and stuff. i mean people are desparate for a sitter these days.

Well... If you have younger sibblings that you can watch start off with that... and then move on to cousins, aunts, uncles, parents friends anything like that.

Well you may want to put up signs in your area/town or if you have any relatives close by that work with adults who have young kids get them to ask. Dont worry about the cost cuz most parents will do that part ! Hope i helped!! <3

Well sounds like your just perfect for the job! I think you should print fliers (I've done it before!) Tell them your name, age, location, phone number, qualifications, ect! Then be sure to add a friendly little note to the bottom of each flier! That always comes off as really sweet! And then spread them around your neighborhood, city, ect! well maybe u should wait like a year or so cuz people like to hire teenagers. then make cards with info about urself and put it peoples mail boxez telling people that u were interested in babysitting....

It's cool that you're certified by the Red Cross, but I doubt many people will hire someone as young as you for baby-sitting. I'd suggest asking adults that your family is familiar with and seeing if they need any of their kids to be watched. It's a lot easier to be hired to babysit when you're a bit older, say 13-14.

putting ^ signs around ur neighbor hood. since ur 12 and u cant drive try and make sure that the flyers are only to houses u can walk to. clear it with ur parents tho if ur aloud to walk to ur neighbors houses if ur neighbors ask for u to babysit. <3 xogiggles37xo.

I would make flyers to send around to your whole neighborhood. Hopefully you have a neighborhood directory to you know which houses has kids. post a sign in a foodstore and make sure u put that you are certified by the redcross cuz they may be a little iffy about the 12, or you can be a mothers helper which is helping a baby, while the mother is home doing work at home, or something!

Well, if ur 12, ppl might not b 2 sure if ur mature enough 2 star babysitting yet, so it might b hard 2 get jobs @ first. Try making posters and putting them in the mailboxes of ppl in ur neighborhood that says how u babysit and wut training u have had and everything like that. It's also good 2 have refrences, such as family members, or past ppl u have babysat 4, that way those ppl can tell others about whether or not ur a good babysitter and responsible. Good luck!!

Put some flyers up around schools, you can find out if there are some of your parents friends kids who need to be baby sat. Or somone from your parents work. Also if there are little kids around the neigbor hood, or if you have a friend who has a younger sibbling you can tell them you want to baby sit.

neighbors!!! be polite to your neighbors who have kids, and mention to them that if they need anybody to babysit, that you'd be glad to do it! also, let your friends kno that if they ever have a babysitting job that they can't do, that you'll be glad to cover for them!
