yes there is a camera in the movie theaters in the back that is what makes the movie go.

Not at the theatre by us, there aren't. I guess some might have them, but I haven't heard about it.

some theaters are using night-vision goggles to detect people trying to pirate movies. Several people have been caught using this technique. Beyond that, I do not know of cameras being in theaters.
