Am I Fat?

Hi, I'm 14 years old. And I weigh around 115 pounds. I don't exactly have a flat stomach but I'm not fat at the same time. I'm 5'2 and I think that I should loose some weight. I've been trying not to eat so much (I don't anyway) But I get light headed when I don't eat. What I'm asking is, is 115 pounds for a 5'2" 14 year old too much to weigh? I also don't feel good about myself because I don't have a flat stomach. Is there anyway I can get a flat stomach? I used to have one when I danced and did gymnastics, but I've quit those so I don't do any excersie anymore and It's hard to keep in shape that way. Also my parent's don't own any excersie equitment and I don't go to the gym. Thanks..*Love Annoyomous*

I have friends who are just the same as you! And they are perfectly fine with themselves. I think you just need some more confidence in your own body. If that means that you need to lost a few pounds, take an aerobics lesson or go to the gym once a week. Or get one of those yoga balls and do some exercises to your favorite music or while ou watch tv. The possibilities are endless! And also, it isn`t how much you eat, it`s what you eat. Just try to cut down on junkier foods and eat another apple or broccoli :p Not eating is not good for you!

okay first of all thats not fat at all for your age hunnie NOT AT ALL!!!!im your age too but im skinnyer than all my other friend tho too...im 5'2 too and weigh 95lbs....but hunn thats now big at all....you could get the belly you want by going to the gym mabye working out and do a lil but of sit ups a night...

According to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), you're not fat at all. Your BMI is 21.0, which is actually a bit on the skinny side of normal. So you're perfect. ^^

Do sit-ups. There are different kinds of sit ups you can do. Find them on the internet.

Go back to dance or gymnastics! Or, if you hate them, try Yoga. You don't necessarily have to take a class for it. Just buy a book or look online. There are sooooo many Yoga sites out there. -_-;;

On the eating thing, DON'T STOP EATING! Just eat healthier foods. Get some recipies for fruit smoothies, make them, and have them for lunch!

No that iz not fat for you. u dont need to not eat so much u juss have to cut back on certain foods like if u eat a lotta things wid carbs. in them it will make u gain weight so say u like a lotta pasta try not to eat as much but do eat u dont wanna become like annarexic or n e thign but u can do crunches n stuff to get a flatter stomach

NO YOUR NOT FAT AT ALL!!!! trust me... my friend is 5' and 110... and shes really skinny, if you want to keep in shape.. a good exercise for your stomach is crunches and sit up... and good leg exercises are running and biking.. also if you want to tone up your arms, you could stand in a doorway and push your arms against the sides and hold for 30 secs. and you could do that 3 times a day..Those are just some suggestions..

Sweetie, you are exactly like one of my friends. She's about your height and weights about the same. Don't worry it! Believe me, its only because you're short...and dont try and lose weigt either. When you're a teen and you're still developing everything, you need all the food and nutrients you can get! You're beautiful and you shouldnt care how much you weight..I'm 5'7" and I weight a lot more than you..so dont worry! if I don't, you shouldnt ;)

heyy i really don't think that you are fat at all... 5.2 115lbs seems perfect to me! and nobudy has a "flat" stomach... i kno someone who had anorexia and she always thought thaat she was fat cuz her stomach wasn't wat they call "flat" but she was one of the skinnyest people i have seen in my life.... you can't necessarally have a flat stomach people are all different and you shouldn't change who you are. be happy wiht yourself... besides guys like wen gurls have a lil meat on their bones! hope i helped!

of course your not fat!!! just because you don't have a flat stomache doesn't mean you're fat! don't think that! but if you're trying to get a flatter stomache try doing crunches everyday and go for a run in the morning. If you have any more questions, just drop on in my inbox!

Well, personally...I don't think 115 is too much at 5'2 and so I wouldn't worry about that but if you're really worried about looking thin and getting a flat stomach then I recommend doing crunches or situps. Those will help a lot and I would start out with 30 if you can. If that's too much then don't do as many but if it's pretty easy for you then definitely do more. Also, eating healthy like fruits and veggies will help to not gain weight and watch your calorie intake. I hope this helps you and good luck!!

gurllllll u aint no fat....ur normal n healthy gurl for ur age...ur perfect...wut u are its prolly thick...in meaning that u dont have small bone structure ;) but dat dont mean ur fat ur perfect...if u wanna get ur stomache flat just do some crunches :) dats it :-D oxox effy

ok...i know exactly how you feel...um and just about every girl our age feels this way. just dont compare ur self to the supermodel and actresses you see on tv and in magazines...thats a hard life to live. and im guessin ur just a normal girl like me. so just get some excercise at least 3 times a week and make sure you arent fillin ur self up on junk food all day. ps 115 is not fat at all
