Try using a spray gel,it's a lighter formula than regular gel,but works just as well. For bigger, looser waves try a large barrel curling iron.Section off several pieces of hair around your head, and in one inch sections use the curling iron!Large velcro rollers also work great!Maybe try applying the spray gel or frizz serum after you get outta the shower, and then wrapping up your hair with a scrunchie.Maybe even sleep on it,and when it feels about 80% dry let it down and shake out the curls. And you can always go 80's and use a crimping iron on some sections!Hehe! I still think that look looks really cute on people!!! ;)

I would get a crimp! Then spray your hair with hairspray! Crimps are cheap you can get them for like $15 at Wal-Mart.

first you want to part your hair, and bput mousse on both sides... then put in two tight braids over night (try putting them up in buns... that often helps) and let it down loosely the next morning.

rate me please

Try braiding your hair like over night in a couple of braids and dipping the ends in hot water. This will create a wave. Keep them in over night. When you wake up, take the braids out and sprunch and scrunch your hair up with lots of gel. After the gel spray it and tease it so it will be styled and stay the way youn like it. Good Luck! :)

I got this out a magazine, but PHEW this'll take a long while to type! I hope it helps! :)

Well...it all depends on your type of hair. If your hair is straight and FINE, get a volume spray to give your fine hair extra body.

If you have straight and MEDIUM hair, get a curl -enhancing holding spray.

If your hair is straight and thick, get an aerosol spray to give your hair before styling and after for styling power. :)

If you're hair is wavy and fine, get a texturizing lotion to give you hair gleam and perfect your waves.

If you're hair is wavy and medium, get a light spray gel to help define your waves.

If your hair is wavy and thick, use a lightweight styling cream to smooth and give your waves a uniformed look.

If you're hair is curly and fine, get a texturizer WITH hold to stretch tight curls into waves.

If your hair is curly and medium, get a texturizing salt spray to help make curls straighter.

If your hair is curly and thick, use a texture spray to help looks your curls.

If you're hair is relaxed and fine, get a moisturizing, curl-enhancing mouse.

If you're hair is relaxed and medium, use a curl-enhancing lotion to hydrate your hair.

And if you have hair that's relaxed and thick, get a curl cream that gives your hair moisture and some hold.

Now that THAT part is done, we have HOW to make your hair wavy! Woo...(Do this at night!)

1) Shampoo and condition your hair as normal and gently towel-dry it.

2) If you're naturally straight or wavy, mist your hair all over with a leave-in conditioner. If you have curls, pull product (see above) through small section of your hair, and go to sleep.

3) If yo're straight or wavy, divide hair into 10 to 15 sections (depending on how thick your hair is). Twist, roll, and pin hair against your scalp, section by section. Let your hair air-dry overnight. Remove hairpins and use your fingers to help seperate your waves.

4) (This is just touch up!) Straight and wavy hair: Wrap small sections around a medium-sized curling iron and hold for three seconds, then release. If you have curly hair, repeat the same move, but hold for at LEAST six seconds to turn tight curls into loose waves.

TIP: To keep your waves frizz-free and defined, DO NOT comb them once your hair is dry! Just use your fingers to scrunch or twirl them. :)

I hope that helped!! Pleease rate me!

Sincerely, Cammie

L0VELLE answered Sunday July 4 2004, 7:33 pm:
if you're talking about the style jessica simpson wears..then it depends on your normal hair type- if you have curly/wavy hair then after taking a shower tie your hair back into a low bun and let it air dry for a few hours so when you take it out the bottom is still moist and scrunch some gel into it...if you have straight hair..blow dry it with a diffuser a bit and then let it finish air drying..after that take a curling iron, probably with 1 1/2 inch barrels and curl some sections...hope i helped - good luck =]

try mousse, it gives you soft waves rather than hard spiral curls.
