loss friends... lost my appetite

Question Posted Tuesday June 22 2004, 11:38 pm

lately i been having troubles with friends. and it has upsetted me pretty bad. im the type of person that things bother more then most people. its just who i am. but ever since i started having problems with my friend (its been 1 or 2 weeks now) i have totally just cut down eating. like i didnt even notice it until i realized i lost 10 pounds in this short amount of time. i cant really help it i just been kinda upset and i cant really change my situation with my friends for a while. we just have things we have to figure out and everything! i dont know what i could really do to eat more and not lose weight. i have tried to eat a little more then i have been these past couple weeks but if i do i just throw up. its like my body rejects food. what should i do?

Because you are so down, your body is reacting to it, and that is why you can't keep anything down and are not eating. If you can't find a way to make up with your friends than you need to find a way to bring your spirits up, like hang out with a good guy friend or go somewhere with your family or another friend. Find fun things to do to get your mind off of things and then you will be able to eat. Goood Luck! :)

((please rate))

your loss of appetite is dangerous. you're not becoming anorexic in the mind, but your body rejecting the food can be very health hazardous. let your friend know what this separation is doing to you. tell your parents about it, and ask them to help you.

Please, please, please go and talk to a doctor!! It sounds as if you are suffering from depression.

Also try talking to your parents or a counselor about this.

It's good that you realize that you can't change your friends' situations. Unfortunatly, not all friendships work out, and things change.

Please please talk to your doctor. You are probably depressed and need some help. In a few instances, you might not have to take anything. You might just need some on to talk to.

Friends sometimes change, and grow apart. Unfortunately, its part of growing up. Try to make some new ones, and keep yourself occupied with a new hobby or reading.

If you eat more smaller snacks all day, you can probably gain some weight. I would suggest fruit because it does have sugar in them, and it will be easier on your stomach. I personally like bananas. Some nuts would be good too for protein. Milk is good too. It doesn't necessarily have to be fatty and gross to help you eat more and feel better.

you could have a serious depression problem. try going to a doctor and getting help. they have pills for depression now. also dont force yourself to eat but try eating more fatter things and try to eat more then the normal 3 times a day. try to eat whenever possible that way your body has enough in it! but this could seriously lead to a major eating disorder. get help soon!

Ok well I know going thru friend troubles isn't easy. But you need to see a doctor, fast. Not eating is so unhealthy and if you lose too much weight you can die. Please get to a doctor immediately, because this can result to awful things.
