how do I talk to a friend about sex

Question Posted Wednesday June 16 2004, 6:45 pm

Ok. So my friend who is 14 like me, basically makes out with a different guy every night and gives head to a new guy every week. She recently lost her virginity at a party, and when we started talking about all the stuff she does she says she has fun but she looked really sad. Personally I think she's been doing way to much stuff with way too many random guys. I don't want to hurt her, and make her think I think she's a slut or anything, but I do want to talk to her because I'm concerned. What do I do?

your friend is probably insecure about something...and having a guy probably makes her feel loved..so try to spend more time with her...even though it's not so healthy wut she's doing..don't tell her that it's the wrong thign to do..she's gonna keep doing it....cuz wen you get in a habit it's almost impossible to stop...even if she did give up her old habits she'd still have t o put up wif her reputation

HELLLLLLOOOOOOO!!!! Is your friend looking for an STD? There are so many diseases out there right now that it is almost impossible to sleep around without getting one. There are viruses that can be contracted by sitting on a toilet seat. Take your friend to the local library and show her the scary truth. COnvince her to go to the health department and get checked out. If that doesn't work then she will have to find out the hard way, which is really sad. You can't make her stop, but maybe you can scare her out of it. Hope i helped. If you need me I am here.

<span style="background: url([Link](Mouse over link to see full location); Sounds exactly like my sister. You definitely have to talk to her, because if you don't it may only get worse. Hun, this might sound horrible to say, but she is only going to get worse from here. She's probably ashamed overall, but she wouldn't want to admit it because at the same time it could be fun. She could be come depressed for this, and seriously it's not right to be notorious for sex. She just needs time to stop this before she gets addicted to sex lol. Tell her your opinions, don't be afraid to, they might make a difference. If not..just remember it's her body and while it may be wrong she's the only one who can handle it. Love ya - Mandee</span>

Okay, if she's 14, she's way too young to be doing that kind of stuff anyway.
Talk to her about it. Just be gentle, and start with something like "Hey, [friend's name], I wanna talk to you about something that's concerning me..." and then gently go into the problem. Good luck!

Tell her all the bad things about what could come out of the things and the names people could start to give her and if she found a guy she really liked he might only like her for what she is going around doing. tell her to stop and think about it really long and really hard and to get back to you with what she thought of and let her know that you are always there for her no matter what-trix (*rate me*)
