lately i cant wait to grow up
lately i cant wait to grow up. like i cant wait to get my period, i cant wait to become a teenager, i cant wait to go to colledge, i cant wait to get married, i cant wait to have kids, i cant wait to drive, like all of that stuff! does this mean anything?

You probably just have watched a lot of t.v. and saw things about teenagers and driving and all that other stuff. Well, I'm a teenager and I have my period, trust me, enjoy not having ur period while u can b cuz i was just like u until the day I got it and i was not happy. I got big cramps and I was always afraid of leaking blood all over my butt and onto my clothes and it made me cranky and moody and it's not a good feeling when u feel it coming out. Not to sound grose tho. Being a teenager doesnt really feel any different from being 12 or 11 or 10, u just feel more responsible thats all, but u still act like a kid and do lots of stupid things. When u turn 13 ur parents do let u do more stuff, thats the only cool part. Well, bye.

Most girls are like that, especially around this age. I NEVER wanted to have my period though...and I was so upset when I did. But it's normal for girls to WANT their periods, it's nothing weird/strange.
So bottom line -- You're just like any other girl around the age of...11/12? (I'm guessing).

I've had that obsession. Slow down. The time will come for everything. If u rush, you'll never have time to be what you are and when you want to go back you won't be able to. Like for example... I was in elementary school and I was always sayin I WANNA GO TO MIDDLE SKOOL SO BAD!! i want da lockers and then the free clases different teachers, new choices, reputation, then high school then college. Well now i'm in middle skool and i HATE IT!!! i wanna go back to elementary skool. So slow down, a time will come for everything... now i'm looking for a first date but I'm afraid that mite not be for a while...dunno, gess i gotta wait...

It definately means that you are going to have a very wasted life because with this attitude you are going to rush through it and not notice all the beautiful things that surround you.

I understand this question because I have been in this same spot. (and I'm not Kidding)
This really doesn't mean that your "ready" to grow up because about a year or two I was doing this too. I did the exact same thing your doing too but i never said a word to anyone about it because I thought i would be made fun of or some thing. Well you know what? now that I have had my period for almost 2 years and am a teenager and having my heart broken, I really see that its not so great. And no i'm not saying that its aweful but its not as great as i thought it would be.
right now i'm trying to take each day at a time because I'm really scared of whats coming next. for me right it seems like everything is just going too fast! like every time I turn around i've had my "first something" and i didn't even have time to really enjoy it.
I am scared of going on my first date because i will be 16 then and thats when i get my GED and start to drive and all that and i know that im not ready for that and it scares me because thats in 2 years now. Im not trying to just say that im scared of everything or that it is all bad but Im just saying you will grow up out of wanting to grow up because one day you will wake up and notice how differernt everything is. just enjoy your youth. because it will all come in due time.

It doesn't appear to have a cryptic meaning or anything like that. You just wanna grow up. Growing up is fun...but stay young. Young is fun too. When you "grow up," you end up with all this stress and tension from everything. Just stay as carefree as you can for as long as you can. =)

It means you are excited about growing up! So just be pacient, those things will happen for you! If it happened all now, you would have nothing to look foward to. Enjoy life each day as it comes. And don't be so anxious to grow up, all the things you want hold a lot of responsiblility. When your older, you'll wish you were still young with less responibilty and stress.

I know how hard it is but i grew up too fast and the things that i wanted to do so bad i did too young and missed out on all the fun being young can be. enjoy sleeping late on the weekends because when you get older that sometimes can never happen. Enjoy not working and paying bills and having grown up responsibilities. Driving means paying for a car, insurance and gas that means you have to work everyday and you can never just go back and be a kid. Responsibility comes with age and be a kid now enjoy it. Everything else will come sooner than you think and youll be glad that it happened later than now....

It just means you think your ready for bigger things. When I was younger thats what I wanted but now Im 18 in college, and what I wish I would have done was live in the moment but prepare for my future rather than living in the future.
