`it doesnt hurt as bad as people say it does. the thing that hurts are the cramps, which are pretrty much stomachaches, just a little lower. but, there are a lot of things that can help with that-- like regular painkillers such as advil or tylenol to birth control pills to midol or pamprin, or if you don't like taking medication there are also heat pad things that you put on your stomach and it makes it feel better. ]
im first period killed my stomach hurt for ages but it got easyer ]
ur PERIOD itself doesnt hurt... sometimes the cramps can but that just depends on the person really... dont worry about it its not as bad as everyone says it is!! ]
Well, let's see....
Before you get your first period, you may feel stomach sick...but it's really nothing to worry about.
Usually you get your first period while you're sleeping..and you just wake up with it.
It doesn't hurt at all...it actually just feels like you had an accident (went pee-pee in your pants in other words)hehe
*sigh* Having your period sucks! I WAS ALWAYS SO PARANOID ABOUT IT! But...you get used to it...and I hardly get any bad cramps myself *knock on wood* but it's different for other people...
Different people feel different ways.
Good Luck with that.
It's really nothing to worry about.

No periods dont hurt...they're freaking annoying ....you get little cramps somtimes..but its nothing to worry about ]
be happy you don't have your period because once u get it u wish u never had it. once u come on it feels like your peeing on yourself. sometimes when i come on it i get cramps and sometimes it hurts real bad and i want to cry. ]
Yes.
It feels squishy down south when it happens. You might not notice it aat first...it took me a few periods to finally feel the difference.
It's a bit annoying...if you think about it too much, you'll find yourself in the girls room looking at your behind to see if there is a red spot. Unless you have dark pants. I use always...and it works. But you hvae to change your pad in the middle of the day. After the first three days, for me at least, less of it comes out.
It used to hurt AFTER I had my period. But there are pills so that the pain will disapper. I only took them for a few days (I'm not great at swallowing pills), and since then I have been pain free.
But it is different for every girl. ]
It hurts. For the love of all the gods, it hurts like no pain you have ever experienced in your life. I would get really friendly with Midol Cramp and Pepto-Bismol if it were you. Check my column for a recent answer to someone who had a very similar question. ]
I had my first period when i was 8, and I'm 18 now. Periods can give you slight pain - i often get pain at the beginning of my period, in the stomach, back and knees. My joints also get stiff, but it's nothing that a few painkillers doesn't cure. After the initial start of my period, i don't really notice it. It used to feel uncomfortable for a few days when i was younger, but it's fine now. Everyone's different, but periods are definately nothing to worry about, every girl gets them and lives through them. ]
Well the only part that might hurt is the "side-effects," such as cramps. Some people get them, some don't. Some people get migranes (headaches), or other things. It's pretty much a nuissance and that's it. =)
