Ears a bit cartilage.. well its going through some cartilage so its gunna hurt a bit and you can hear some crunchin as it goes in.. yeah i no.. gross! but its all worth it! trust me i have 7 holes in my ears xoxo trix

it depends on what you get pierced. cartilage doesnt hurt to get pierced (ive had it done), the only time it hurts is if it gets infected, and then it hurts like a mofo. anyway, if you get your cartilage pierced...anywhere...make sure not to put pressure on it (sleeping on it, etc.) becuase this could cause irritation

ears-no, it's just a liiiittle pinch for some people and it's over, i didn't feel it at all though.
nose-nope that didn't hurt me either

I have my ears pierced twice and both cartiladges too. They don't hurt as long as you don't catch them on anything while they're healing, and as long as you take care of them. I had 2 cartilidge piercinge in my right ear and one in my left, and the lower one in my right went septic and it was SO PAINFUL. Just remember to follow the piercer's instructions on cleaning.

well it hurts a lil, but only for a minute. but if its what you really want, i think the tiny hurt is worth it. oh, and if you really don't want it to hurt, don't forget to rotate the ring, or else you'll get an infection and that HURTS!!!!

I've only had my ear peirced, but they don't hurt much at all. It feels kinda like someone is pinching with their nails on the earlobe but about a minute after it doesn't hurt much. It's going to feel wierd though because having stuff on your ear is a big difference.

Well, it epends where you are getting a piercing. The bottom of your ear doesn't hurt. But your nose and belly button do. My aunt told me the thing about the nose and bellybutton, I didn't go that far.

That depends on a lot of things including your tolerance to pain and the skill of the piercer. Ears rarely hurt anyone but thicker areas like lips, eyebrows, noses, etc. can be painful if done incorrectly. I've seen many piercings done well that didn't seem to cause any pain, while some had people crying for hours. If you don't like pain I'd avoid more sensitive areas, and make sure the piercer knows his/her stuff and uses sterile instruments. Good luck and happy piercing!

Yes, and it depends on where you pierce. In the lower part of your ear, it almost doesn't hurt, it's just flesh. In the upper part, there is cartillage. It hurts a little when you pierce, as if an ant would bite you, and it keeps hurting for a week or two. I couldn't sleep turned to the right when I pierced my right ear, because it hurted. And the last place I know, your belly button. It hurts a lot when you're piercing it, and I mean a lot, but it's quick. And then it never hurted anymore. It was like 'did it end, already?' because it's like it isn't there.

Usually it doesnt, but it all depends on how tender ones ears really is. I mean for me it didnt hurt.
Try maybe going somewhere you can trust. Or you could just do it yourself.

It takes so fast to get your ears pierced that you don't have time to think about whether it hurts or not (that is, if you have it professionally done). It feels like getting a shot, pretty much. A really quick shot.
It's not that much pain.

no it dosent but the alcohal may sting a lil when they use it to clean the area and the nose it really depends
