Well first you have to offically hear it from him that he doesn't like you or else he might and you may never know. And if he likes your friend your going to have to get used to that fact that he likes your friend. This will happen a lot in life trust me but the best thing to do is just be happy for your friend, because there is no reason you should be interested in a person thats not interested in you, you will waist a lot of time.

Get to know him as a mate better. One of the corner stones to relationships is freindship. If his liking your mate really bothers you, talk to him about it, and find out if its true.
