Besides identifiable sexual attraction, how can one tell the difference between a crush and great love for a friend? If a friend really wants physical contact with another friend, but not necessarily sex, what is that?

My girlfriend is cutting herself,she has been doing it for about a year.She is not as bad as she was but she is starting to think about it more and more,she says she is addicted and she doesnt know if she can stop, and she really wants/needs help.I dont know wat to do or say.What can i do to help my girlfriend?

Im 14 my best friend is 16, we're both sophmores lately shes been annoying me, she has to be perfect in everything or she trys at least, I told her when I was in summer school this guys friend asked me if Id go out w his friend and yesterday she called me and said I talked to him about it I mean shouldnt she be keeping this I tell her to herself and then she doesnt treat me like a best friend, she ingores me and leaves me but when no ones their thats when she talks to me, last is when guys like her or even look at her she keeps saying it over and over like braggin...IS THEIR ANY WAY I CAN TELL HER TO STOP WITHOUT SOUNDING RUDE OR JEALOUS? If so please help me asap! Thanks!

okay i know i shouldnt even be thinking about this or worrying or complaining...but me and my ex bf broke up about 8 months ago, im not quite over him yet...but i broke up with him cause he cheated on me...and i just recently heard that hes been hanging out alot with that girl latly...it really hurts..do u guys have ne advice to not think about it, or how not to get so sad over it?? please dont say, its been 8 months get over it! cause its harder than u think....thanks

okay i have an account on xanga and like theres people who have like really cool fonts and like they set it up really cool with like boxes and borders around it and eveything - heres an example of one .. http://xanga.com/xsundaysworstx

alright well whenever i get upset i feel the need to cause myself pain. sometimes i do and sometimes i just cry. and i used to cut but i dont anymore and im never going to again so that will not be a way of hurting myself...but i want to know if there's anyway to control these feelings. i really dont want to end up hurting myself badly. but i get upset do easily...i dont know im just so confused.
