I want to lose weight.

I really would love to lose weight. I'm 13/f, I'm 5'9 and I weigh 150 pounds, which is not too okay. I want to be around 130, and I'm really willing to do it, but I need some help. I'm eating Special K every morning, fruits for lunch, and regular dinners. If I have to, I'm willing to replace white bread with whole wheat more often. I have volleyball practice everyday, but there's so many people on the team that I'm only getting physical activity half the time. But starting next week, I'll have intense basketball practice every Friday night, and games on Saturdays and Sundays.
I have some problem areas. I want to have a flat stomach, and I have fat on my stomach that I seriously want to get rid of. My love handles annoy me a lot, and ...

Okay, so my gym teacher knows I hate gym. I tried to get into another class... But no, my principle hates mE!!!! He let the others kids get a different class, but nooooo. I had to STAY! Damn it! I've had gym all 3 years in middle school! I fucking HATE IT!!!!!! I was not built for gym, math, science or make up. UNDERSTAND THIS. My gym teacher broke my cool two days ago. I wore my black high heels so I don't have to do gym again. He yelled at me and told me to go to the office... Here's what happened...

please help,i'm only 5'5 and i'm nineteen and a guy,i heard that guys can grow up to 21 years old so i still have hope left....

what exercises should i do?i know that gym exercises only make your muscles bigger and not your height taller,cardio exercises like jogging only loses your carbs,so what do i do to grow taller? any food? exercises? medications?

plus my friend has a short dad but he is like 6 foot.so yeah,do you guys have any suggestions?thanks

Swimming in Gym

Hi.

This Thursday we are starting our swimming unit in gym. I use to be a swimmer and my hair was damaged for about a year because of the chlorine even after malibus, and using special hair shampoos and conditioners.

My hair is finally back to normal, & I don't want to ruin it again.

Is there anything you can wear that wont let any water get into it for swimming??

I managed to gain 5 pounds whether it was from the pill or not. So now I'm 95 pounds. I'm 16, 5'1 with a very high metabolism. No eating disorders. I'm a health freak, no junk food, soda, blah blah. But I look a bit preggo, if you know what I mean.

What are some exercises [websites, pictures?] I could do at home to give me a flatter stomach? Any other exercises too since I don't have PE. I would also like to try Yoga, but I can't afford to go out buying videos. I don't want to lose weight, more like gain but keep a flat stomach and gain back the flexibility I had 2 years ago. I can't fit running in my schedule right now though.

Any tips, etc?

Treadmills...

15/f We recently bought a treadmill. I'm very small only 80lbs and I hate it. I want to get my butt bigger. Can a treadmill help with this? I also wanna gain weight so will running on it help to build muscle and make me look bigger and maybe weigh more? the treadmill can incline and decline. goes up to 10mph.

My thighs are gross. I'm already a cheerleader as it is and we stretch a lot and do regular movement and stretching just my thighs are coming out looking fabulous. I wanna tone them but I don't know what are some good exercises and what not to do it. Please help. :)

Losing some pounds

I am about 5'3" and 120 pounds. I do not think I am fat, but I think I have fat ON me (there IS a difference!) I'm pretty confident in my body and I'm not striving to be stick thin, I just want to lose a few pounds. How many? I'm not sure. I don't know numbers. I just want to feel better about myself and I think it is a pretty achievable goal.
I can pinch a pretty decent amount of fat on my lower abdomen; I have a bit of a gut. If that was gone I would not have any complaints about my body. SO: I don't know if this is the healthiest choice, but it is most convenient for me. What do you think about this?
For breakfast I eat a SlimFast bar and a cup of coffee (yeah I know... it'll stunt my growth. Don...

Losing weight

Okay so I've decided to do this Special K thing. So what I plan on doing is eating a bowl of it before school/in the morning, having a Special K Bar/Granola Bar/Fruit for lunch, and then Special K again for dinner, and occasionally having regular dinner. I've joined the volleyball team where I have practice every day after school (except Thursdays because of religion classes) for about an hour/hour and a half. Soon, basketball will be starting, so I'll be having practice Friday nights, and games on weekends. I really want to lose 15-20 pounds before summer of '08, and I was wondering if this was a good goal, and I'm really motivated so I really wanna try to lose weight and stick to it, so just let me know if there's anything else I can do t...

flatter stomach

i am 16 and so basically my stomach is not flat at all and i would love for it to be flat and i have been trying all these years to make the fat go away.. i have tried crunches and situps but they dont work.. is there anything i can do? and exercise or foods?

Well, I have the similar problem as hers with the legs and hips even though I'm a size 1, My legs are kind of what she explained about hers and I want good legs like the ones in the picture so I don't have "chicken drumettes."

I never actually tried on skinney jeans before but I have a similar pair of jeans JUST like that one but more bright blue and it flares at the bottom..so maybe it'll look ok?

But all my tops go like halfway down my butt, not up the wear the jeans start so maybe it'll like pop up at the top/front?

Cheerleading/Pom Pom Girl

I kinda want to be a cheerleder. im not really sure but i really would like to do a fun sport like that. i do gymnastics but i want to do something school related. the thing is im not good at cheerleading. i tried last year and didnt make it and im def. not the type of popular girl who would try. my biggest problem is that i cant memorize things easily. having this problem honestly should i try or not? its not a life dream or anything just something i thought might be fun to try. so if i wont be good at it and make it i dont want to put the time into it and practice and get my hopes up to crash and burn. try-outs arent until april or sumthing obviously so its not like really soon or anything. or maybe pom-poms. i would def. like to be a pom...

Im not fat, I just don't have any muscle definition. I want to not be jiggly and have firm arms, legs, butt, and abs. What can I do to get rid of the layer of flab thats holding me back and build up some muscle? I don't want to be a body builder here, just a little defined. Specific exercises, amount of time I should exercise, what foods are good for losing weight and building muscle (I have a pretty good understanding of what to and what not to eat) etc.
If it helps, I'm 5'3-5'4 and roughly 130lbs.
