So I am 17, a college student (majoring in engineering), people tell me I should be a model...Anyways the point is that I have never even went out with a guy before.. my parents always oriented me towards school and self-improvement.. I guess I am starting to get curious about dating a boy (guys only - I am not gay)..but the problem is that nobody ever asks me out.. I am not shy around guys at all..and they always treat me as their friend..why can't I attract a guy? could they just be intimidated by me somehow? what should i do? (asking a guy out myself is completely out of the question!!)

Well, the title pretty much explains it.
Last night i got really mad at my boyfriend "dan" we'll call him.
We were having a normal phone convo and having a good time and laughing.
When, he asks the question "How many boyfriends have you had baby?"
and we've talked about this so many times, and he KNOWS how many i've had.
I'm the ONLY girlfriend he's ever had, and i know it. His best friend told me, and he certainly has a number of times.
So i tell him "Four."
And he goes 'I mean, real boyfriends that you kiss and stuff, not go out for a day and dump"
and i said "well in that case its you."

i like always like seniors. im a sophomore. but ive always liked older guys, but who doesnt right?
But the thing is, ive had a crush on this magnificent guy since last year, hes obviously a senior this year. He's in one of my classes, and I can't like seem to look away from him, and he's caught me staring at him a few times. And I'm like in "love" with him. He is the nicest guy i have met in my lifetime. well i have this friend who is a total player and he can be a total jerk but i kissed him like 2 months ago when i first met him then i stopped talking to him but now we are friends again..anyway i want to makeout with him because hes a really good kisser and i have no one to kiss lol and it would be fun but i really dont want people to think im pathetic or something. is just making out with him gonna make people think that? at my school hes like a loser because of the girls we messes with and he USED to do drugs and parties and stuff but i would NEVER date him or anything. i just want to kiss him. what do you think? and please dont be mean!!!

This kid and i have been on and off for a while. We've been through a lot and hes hurt me a lot. I dont know why i keep getting back together with him. He screwed me over once and promised me he wouldnt again and than he basically did. I sent him like two texts and he ignored them so i sent another saying it was over. he didnt say anything. This was 4 days ago, and he still hasn't said anything. We go to different schools so its kinda different. I don't know what to do. Okay, i apologize in advance for vagueness, or for this being a rather..dumb?..question.

ok, i like this guy. me and him became really close last year as friends. but he liked me i liked him. now this year i was lucky enough to have him in my homeroom. i was super excited! but the first day of school i didnt talk to him but today (2nd day of school) he talked to me beacuse yesterday our lockers wouldnt open and he came up to me and asked me if our lockers were ready yet. but like last year when he would talk to me i kinda felt like he liked me and he was flirting but when i talked to him today he seemed to talk to me like i was his best friend. I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, but in the beginning of our relationship he checked my phone bill somehow and now I feel like I cant have any friends or even use the phone. I stopped calling everyone and stopped answering the phone. He has a house and I live in a 1 bedroom apartment. he never invites me to his house. I was there only 3 times. He says its because we cant smoke in his house, but I know this is bullshit. I'v never met any of his friends or family. Hes met some of my friends when I had them and hes met most of my family. He always goes on trips for days at a time. Recently he said he wanted to have a baby and I just cant see how I could raise a baby in a 1 bedroom apartment and him just come and visit us. ...

I'm sure you're sick of hearing about these type of problems, but...there's someone at school who I'm really interested in. He has a girlfriend, and I'm fine with that, but I'd like to be closer with him friend-wise. He comes up to me sometimes and occasionally sits with me for long periods of time. The only problem is, I'm extremely shy and have a lot of trouble conversing with him. I usually end up staring into space, wishing I knew what to say, while he talks a little bit. Of course i don't stay completely silent the entire time, but i feel like my lack of interesting things to say is keeping us from becoming real friends. What should I do?

I've never felt this way about a guy before. Sure I had crushes, and I even thought I was in love before.
When our eyes meet or when he moves in my direction I get sudden 1-second stomach pains, almost like extreme butterflies, which actually feel pretty good and exhilarating. What is this and can you explain it scientifically?
Also, he's not very good looking, at all, and I think this is the first time I've been attracted to a guy sexually for his personality and nothing else.
I just never felt this way before. I mean I never had these stomach pains before, for me I think I was always obsessive about some guys I liked and confused it with love.

Ive been dating my guy for over a year. And my parents are getting a little if'y about him because he doesn't talk with them as much. I believe the quote from my father was " when a guy is dating a girl, he tries to convince the parents that he's interested by talking with her parents" How do i (or should i even) ask him to put more of an effort towards my parents. He's a bit quiet but i know he loves me. Being a family girl this is kinda important to me, but i dont know how to ask him to show them what i see. Please Help ASAP!

Okay well I am 15/f an I have an small problem. It's like every time I meet or hear about an interesting guy who is into what I like, I automatically like the guy without really knowing him. I wish I could save the crushing for after we become friends not before. Today in my second day of school I met this guy: very friendly, same musical interests, kinda shy, and really cute. So all of a sudden I am starting to develop feelings for him. When I met him I feel like I was stuttering and kinda embarrassed myself. I just have a huge problem with showing people who I really am. I feel like only 2 people really understand me completely. I have had problems with making friends and I want to learn how to properly express myself. Thank you to anyone who can help in any way!
