Parents and B.F Ive been dating my guy for over a year. And my parents are getting a little if'y about him because he doesn't talk with them as much. I believe the quote from my father was " when a guy is dating a girl, he tries to convince the parents that he's interested by talking with her parents" How do i (or should i even) ask him to put more of an effort towards my parents. He's a bit quiet but i know he loves me. Being a family girl this is kinda important to me, but i dont know how to ask him to show them what i see. Please Help ASAP!

Dad's are usually the harder ones to convince because they're protective. I have a boyfriend and my Dad likes him because whenever my boyfriend comes over he just gives a "hello" or "How are you". Your boyfriend and parents don't need to have a big conversation. Tell Your boy to start saying "Hello" to your parents when he sees them or ask how they're doing. They'll warm up to him if he does that. ]
I would explain to your father that that is not always the case some guys learn early that the parents are just an add on and he wants to love you not them. I would talk to him and ask him to just speak with them a little more. this will quite your dad and will fix the current problem. ]
