OK, see I'm going out with this guy...and he's really really sweet and nice and everything, he's what I think every girl would want. BUT the only thing is...he's not good looking....at all I guess...he's not like the ugliest person on earth...but he's just not cute at all. And like I'm afraid people at my school will make fun of me, because you know, Blue Valley..think about it..girls here..we judge...what do I do? Do I dump the guy? or do I keep on going out with this guy and ignore everything?

my gums are red

i have a sore throat, i have these sores on my tongue and my gums are red and are like taking over my teeth. litterally. is this normal because my gums kinda hurt and its just plain scary.. can someone tell me whats wrong ?

Friend(-ish) with a newly dead mother

13/m. I'm sorry if this is kind of long. you see, I have this sort-of friend: she's in all of my classes except for one, so we talk a lot. She makes fun of me sometimes, but I really don't think she means it, because things are regular again by next period. I kind of like her, but not really. And the acts as though she likes me sometimes. But, I really don't want anything to happen between us, since I've already made my New Year's resolution to get this one particular girl to like me.
So anyway, that girl, let's call her Jane, her mom died two weeks ago. I've never had to sit through a death before---I'm lucky enough that nobody in my family has ever died. And the only time anyone's parent has died other than Jane's is in 2nd...

i tore my acl about 4 weeks ago in the beginning of december .. i get surgery jan. 3 .. and if anyone has gone through with tearing their acl and getting surgery i would like to know how much pain it is afterwards and idk just more about it .. thanx

Should I end this long distance relationship?

I have a long distance relationship with my bf. He had to move away for a job in an oil rig camp. He can't email me because his internet hasnt been connected yet. So the only way we can contact each other is by phone.
Well since he moved 2 months ago he hasn't phoned me once. I phoned him on Xmas day(I just happened to catch him on his break) and he was being pleasant and said he'd phone me on New Years Eve. I never got a call. I know he works crazy hours and probably can't get a hold of me. I also work but only part time.
He told me also to never phone him before 6. He has a cell phone.
I'm getting really sick of this whole long distance thing. I also think he should be phoning me more than say, once every 2 mon...

Hello there,
I'd like to thank whoever is gonna give me advice in advance.
Anyway, I've always had this problem:
I'm the president of the Student Council, and honestly I expected people, including my friends, to be happy for me.
However, two of my friends ( a boy and a girl), who are also on the Student council, started rumors about me being a show off and reminding the teachers about the homework, eventhough it's not true.
The boy's girlfriend is on the Student Council too, and I wanted to ask for her opinion about something. And as soon as I even opened my mouth, he cut me off! And stupid me didn't say anything! Not "Please man, I'm talking to her", nothing!
And on the same day...

Am I being selfish for wanting to stay single?

I'm a 27 year old female.For the first time in a long while I'm actually happy to be single. I have my own appartment and a part time job, and was thinking that if I was dating someone I probably couldnt affort to have all the nice things like movies, cd's, and nice furniture, because I would be spending it on my bf. I was also thinking how nice it is not to have the responsiblility of looking after children. A lot of the ladies I work with at the store have kids and they are always so stressed out. I have it made- I only answer to myself and can come and go as I please. The money I make is spent on myself and doesnt go to pay for anyone else.
I am selfish for feeling like this? And is it just I phase? I want to have a family SOMEDAY, just not now. I'm having too much fun!!

i dont know whats wrong with me. lately i have been thinking of killing myself. i dont know why. i have a bf and a wonderful family and friends but it doest seem worth it. i just keep thinking why not? i cant help it. i also draw the pictures of death. im a very good artist so the pictures are really good. i will sit with a pen in my hand and its like they just jump on the papper one mminute i will bethinking of what to draw and then im done and looking at this picture of death.i just think somethings wrong with me. i just want to die you know nothing can help i try leaving my house adn going fro a wlak. i just quit using and am trying to quit cuting but i only have one good friend i can depend on. do you think i have a serious problem? sho...

ok when my grade started i saw this guy named tuckermen and i thought that i was head over heels for him but my friend feels the same all about him and i felt like im competing for him .
