languages

i love learning languages and am thinking of taking up russian in college. i am also planning on becoming fluent in french (ive been taking it since 7th grade) by studying abroad junior year. i really want to be trilingual so if anyone has any experience with russian and if anyone knows how difficult it is please let me know! or if you have any other suggestions for languages! (not spanish...too similar to french)

Perms and Swimming Pools...

hey! i recently permed my hair (about 3 weeks ago) and while i was at the salon, the stylist told me that i cant swim in swimming pools because the perm will come out. origionally, this wasnt a problem, but i separated my shoulder and now have to get in the pool (head under also) for physical therapy. is my perm going to come out?

hi this question may be a little weird but my sister thinks that shes ugly and she beautiful yet for some reason she thinks that if your her friend or family your lieing or it dosent count if you say shes pretty in my family your not aloud to date or have a boyfriend until your 18 so she is sad she says the second that she turns 18 shes gonna go out and get a boyfriend now that i dont care about but shes so obsessesd with makeup and tryin to look pretty when she dosent have to and to tell you the truth she looks so much better without makeup i dont know what to do or tell my sister cause i know she really is beautiful theres one thing she says that makes me so mad about my sister she says why couldnt god make me as pretty as my oldest sit...

My "buddy"

My best friend is everything to me, but sometimes we make plans and she ends up ditchin me. And she always says that SHE'LL BE THERE, and then I ask her if she if going and she says "no", and when I ask "why" she says "I made plans before" and that absolutly ticks me off. And I get sooooo mad at her that I end up calling her a name or something. I always think that she talks about me because we kinda fight when we're not together. What do I do? Not be her friend? or... tell her to screw herself? or just ignore it and keep being her "friend"?

Primary school teaching

i am a 21 year old girl who has just had my life turned upside down. i just realised that i have done nothing with my life that will get me anywhere i want to go. i really want to be a primary school teacher but i am unsure of the routes to take to become one. i am currently an assistant nursery nurse about to qualify. i also have half of an HND in accounts but quit after realising i ould not sit on my own in an office all day on my own. (just isn't me). does anyone know what routes there are to getting into primary teaching? If so how many years do you have to study for?

there's this girl *j*...and she used to be my best friedn...she sent me this e-mail saying stop e-mailing her..i was like i did'nt e-mail her..and i checked too..none of her contacts are with me..then i said nicely i'm not e-mailng you so stop e-mailing me...then she says you think your so tough...you aint got no boobs or ass...and your a size b and i\'m a d..this pissed me off...but i was still like why are you looking and stop e-mailing me...then she has her mom e-mail me saying stop e-mailing me daughter..i new this was *j*...b/c she spelled address wrong..and other things too...then i thought about it and was like ok...all were doing is telling each other to stop e-mailing each other..(if that makes any sence)...i want to tell her that....

OK Green day is smokin' hot right now, they are on covers of magazines and are on tv, so, how come when i go to chatrooms to meet my friends from school, so many people say they suck...Why are they so popular when so many people hate them, i mean i loved them since i was a baby, my dad put their music on before i was born for pete's sake, so ...why?

I just got this shirt and it says "Dude, STFU" on it (cool points if you know where it's from). Well my mom said she doesn't mind if I wear it but my dad wouldn't like it. She told me to tell him STFU stands for something else but I can't come up with anything. Any help?

I'm 16/f and I have an older sister (just turned 18)and an older brother (21). Well my sister and I used to be really close (we're only a year and half apart) but ever since a few months ago, she's started hanging out with these guys that are way older (like my brother's age)and I hate it because we used to do everything together but now her and my brother are always together.

my boyfriend (24)and I(20) have lived together for over a year we live with a roomate who happens to be my friend . just recently last friday actually we got in a big fight and he shoved me into the closet door, our roomate heard it all and said something to him and he got in her face screaming and pointing his finger in her face so i ran flailing my fists aqnd i caught him in the nose , i didn't punch him but i did hit him though and his nose started bleeding which i instantly started bawling and trying to clean away the blood , i knew what i did was wrong and felt horrible anyway we both agreed to forgive each other but then this past tuesday i had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and he was the one with me getting all the post-op ins...
