An Inspector Calls by JB Priestly: Answers to questions

For my English coursework i have a few questions to answer on the play "An Inspector calls" by JB Priestly.
I am struggling on two of the questions. Can anyone help me at all? Both questions are based on the first act only.
1. How does Priestley show the confidence of the Birlings in their position?
2. How does Priestley present the Inspector as an unusual policeman in this act?
Im not asking for you to answer the whole question for me.. Just give me a few ideas please if possible. Thankyou.

Well my best friendd ever moved about 3 years ago, we are still just as closer maybe even closer sand talk all the time. Right now she is going threw a areally hard time, she moves alot and has just recently moved somewhere new, it was hard for her but she is making the best of it and finally started to have fun. Now in the past week everything has been oging downhill. I feel so bad for her and i wanna be there for her but heres the problem, she calls me everyday in tears and yes i sit and i listen to eveything she says but then i dont know what to say back to make her feel better, she will sit and spill her heart out for hours and then i just end up sayin aww im so sorry i wish i could be ...

So there's guy, and (obviously) I have a crush on him. The trick is we have no classes together and I have no excuse to talk to him, even when I really want to. And then I get really nervous if I do try to talk to him and don't know what to say. What should I do??

Hey guys.
First i'm going to start this, i am 15/f.
My boyfriend is 17.
Well, we started going out a month ago. Everything was really good, we had our ups and downs, but i really care about him.
Lately he has been really busy, and kind of pushing me to the side. It seems like he doesn't care about me anymore. He barely talks to me at all. One time i asked him to do something, but he went out with his friends instead. I would be mad about that if his friends weren't my best friends.
But yeah, everyone says to talk to him about it but i can't even do that! He will get mad at me, and i know he will; it has happened before.
Anyone know what i should do...

How do you start off a diet? Or more or less a life change? I want to loose 15 pounds, I'm 5'0 & maybe about 130 pounds. I'd kill to be 115. But I also want to be active, So I understand my weight might go up from muscle, But I want to loose my tummy. I know that will take sometime, Im willing. How do I get motavied (sp?) and start a life change?

I can't stay awake

I'm a senior. In all my four years at my high school, I never fell asleep in my classes. Except this year: Physics. I need some serious help because I hate falling asleep, but I just can't help it.
I used to think it was due to a lack of sleep, but it's not. I don't fall asleep in any other classes; I can't stay up no matter how hard I try to take notes and pay attention. The teachers a nice guy, but not exactly the best educator. I really like school, and was looking forward to physics because I find it interesting. I'm starting to lose that, any advice? Thanks.

lol this is kinda weird to say,and i know its rare but how do you get famous? [for acting] i've ALWAYS wanted to be on disney,but how do people get on the shows? how do you get on tv and possibly more? i would seriously do anything,move to california and leave everything behind for becoming an actress,im takeing musical theater,my mom is all for it,but i dont know what to do,or what should be in a portfolio

sharp stomach pain

since like 9 this morning (its about two now) i have had a sharp, vertical stomach pain about 3 inches long right under my belly button that worsens when i stand up straight. does anyone know what this could be?

heyy..i wear tilt (pacsun) jeans almost everyday,and they fit sooo good,im just getting sooo sick of them.im 4"11 and 00 (almost a 0) in jeans,so i would like to know,what jeans FIT like pacsun,arent THAT much money (but if they are,tell me anyways,but tell me if they are a lot fo money =D) and come in 00. the new pacsun jeans dont fit that good around the crotch and back,and sometimes around the legs,im very skinny in the back of my legs. i heard l.e.i. was good but i cant find them ANYWHERE.also angels,but im lost to where those are also. stores would rock =). thanks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much in advance!!!!

hey y'all, ive been downoading ALOT lately, and i have around 2100 song, and 12 movies, and a bunch of grey's anatomy episodes + a bunch of pictures, noe my computer is running pretty slow and im afraid it will crash soon or something, so is there any smart waysto store all thes things so they take less space or something??

I've been dating this guy for about five months now. I think we're perfect together & everytime I'm with him, he makes me the happiest girlfriend alive. He's like a part of my life & I really don't know what would happen if he weren't to be in my life anymore.
With that, we have this BIG disagreement.
He smokes weed, and I think it's REALLY gross. Ever since he met me, he has cut down, because he hangs out with me a lot, and he won't do it around me. He smoked weed for like three years before he met me, so it's not like he just recently started. I have a boyfriend and he is really swet to me, when we talk but the conversations we have always consist of awkward silences. He never calls me, I always have to call him and I know we have a lot in comon because we are basicvally the same person and I feel good when I talk to him. He is always on my mind, but he tries to be romantic and at the age we are at for me it's kinda cheesy. I've tried not calling him for days but he hasn't called me either; it's like a battle or something. I like him but he is kinda boring . Please help
