How do you start off a diet? Or more or less a life change? I want to loose 15 pounds, I'm 5'0 & maybe about 130 pounds. I'd kill to be 115. But I also want to be active, So I understand my weight might go up from muscle, But I want to loose my tummy. I know that will take sometime, Im willing. How do I get motavied (sp?) and start a life change?

Fill your meals with as much veggies as possible and have a good source of protein as well. Example- like instead of having just plain spaghetti sauce, why don’t you add some chopped peppers, mushrooms etc and protein to it. Substitute flavor instead of fats. Example- instead of mayo on a sandwich try mustard or even hot sauce or a low fat salad dressing. Don’t buy tempting goodies, it’s too easy to snack on them. Instead, keep little healthy snacks around like fruit. Get plenty of sleep because fat is easily stored in your body when you are tired. Plenty of water prevents bloating.
Keep a positive mind!

well being active and doing abs work like cruntches ect these are everywhere on the internet
Don't starve yourself not only will it slow your matablism but the body actually stores fat when not feed right
Try walking like a few miles a day of some sports
(i have seen good tapes for some inside walkin they seem to have worked for a lot of people)
Sometimes people would not like to hear this but the body is going to be a weight it is and be healthy it will only go so low
Losing it fast will only set yourself up for gaining at the same rate if you do not watch
Good luck if you excersise it will pay off
P.S. BREAKFAST will make a huge difference small meals more ofter reather than big meals once or twice a day

Eat healthy and get excercise. NEVER starve yourself, because not only do you not get nutrients, but it also lowers your metabolism. Metabolism is when your body burns off calories. If your metabolism is low, not a lot of calories will get burned. I'm assuming that you're a girl because you want to tone up. Try running or pretty much anything cardiovascular. Cardiovascular excercises burn fat, calories, carbohydrates, and sugar. Remember, if you don't eat right, you probably won't lose any weight, even if you still excercise. To get motivated, think about the results that you will get if you work hard. Excercising also has several benifits. You will have more energy, not get tired as easily, sleep better, and have more confidence, among others. You might want to think about trying pilates. Also, try this link
