I am doing my HW right now and i have a question that asks "name the five parts of a lever" and i cant find that anywhere in my book??? Can somebody please help me out? Please dont complain and be all, "urg i hate these stupid kids that are always asking us to do their HW for them" because i'm not asking for you to do it for me i'm just confused.

soo on my eye.. like the rim under my eyelashes and above my eyeball.. has been hurtin for a couple days and now theres a bubble on it. what is it?? is it a sti (sp)?? what should i do to make it go away??

ive liked this kid for quite a while now
and he told me he loved me and that would never change and that i was amzing and beautiful and eveyrhting
we werent going out either
i thik it was cuase we live bout an hour away and proablly wouldnt see eacthother much
but then he goes out with this girl
and ive been very sad and its been almost a month since theyve been going out
and i seriously dont know what to do
i tried to not like him
but it takes time and i still love him alot!
i look at our conversations and our comments and messges on myspace and his voice and his looks and i just start crying
i even cry myself to sleep
i know it sounds pathetic but im in love with...

6 months now, and nothing's working!

Here's the problem.
Since around beginning of summer last year, this boy started liking my best friend. Until maybe August/September, the feeling was mutual, until my friend, let's call her Daisy, decided the boy, let's call him Donald, was getting too serious [which he was. I believe he was considering an actual future together]. Daisy moved on quickly, but to this day [coming up on 6 months now] Donald is still OBSESSED. I've talked to him since the day this whole thing began, even when they were still 'together', and nothing's happening. It's just annoying everyone. Nothing is working. What can I [or we] do?!

Okay, so this may sound really stupid, but oh well. My friend told me she was like stradling her bf making out and then her boyfriend's best friend was like "Ohh you boned (lets call him billy) Billy". And he said it to her like it was a bad thing for "Billy". and she asked me what that meant. so basically, what does "boning" a guy mean?

i didn't know what category this goes in , sorry.
but im 14 obviously a girl, and when i have my period it seems like it controls my life for that week, because im so self concious about what i wear and if anyone can see anything
and all the older girls like teens or in their 20s seem like they don't even get their period.
so what im asking is how do you deal with it?
and become comfortable in what you do and what you wear during "that time of month"?

I like this guy, Jake.
My birthday was this past Friday, and I invited Jake to my party. He said that he could come.
On Weds. or Thurs., he IMs me and says that he can't come. I figured that he got in trouble or something legit had actually come up.
I just found out that he decided not to come so that he could go to Six Flags with a girl that would soon become his girlfriend.
I'm kind of bothered by this, but I'm not sure if I should talk to him about it or not.
If you were in my situtaion, what would you do?

How do i find a new guy?

I'm looking for a new guy, but everyone around me seems so...mean to me. Let's just say, i'm the one of those girls that are all about make up but you know, a girl that looks like a girl but isn't dainty or girly.(No offense) So everyone picks on me, and i do not know why. So i don't want to ask anyone at my skewl, but then again, i don't get the chance to get out and go to the mall or movies or anything because i need to focus on school. I'm already getting A's so what else do i need to focus on? Well, anyway. How do i find a new guy? Do i change my image or something? Also i'm trying to find a new guy because i need to get over my Exboyfriend. SO thanks alot .

im soooo bad at giving speeches. i dont know why i am. but whenever i get infront of a crowd my voice starts trembleing and my hands start shaking. i practice all the time doing my speech before hand...like to my friends and parents and i do fine. but whenever i get in front of a crowd its like i freak, it feels like im out of breath. even sometimes in class when i get called on to read out of the book i panic and my voice gets all shakey and i mess up on words. i can read fine i just dont no what it is about talking in front of a crowd. Even if i practice tons. any help?

also friday i have to go to the doctors for my pyshical. when they take my urian can they tell i smoke? or do they just not even look at that?

ok so i wanna loose like 10-20 pounds. i know alot of people ask about this but i really wanna no how to do it fast because it bugs me alotttt. i wanna do it in a healthy way tho. and i know the key is to excersise and eat right. but i do both of those most of the time and i havent lost anything, i might have even gained a couple pounds. have any ideas?

Okay, my cheerleading coach is a bitch, and she doesn't like me. She treats me like crap and nit picks at me all the time and she always tells me I can't do anything right. Yeah...very encouraging..not.
So, football cheerleading tryouts are coming up in March and I really want football. I lost it last year because she literally and purposely took me off football and put someone ahead of me and told me I was first alternate. (One of the judging staff told me) And when a cheerleader quit, she didn't move me up like she was supposed to. And I asked her so many times and she brushed it off.
So with her being a uptight "coach", she probably won't let me make football again. But I'm humoring myself and gonna try out. My ma...
