swimming in school

in my school every student has to do swimming in gym class for 5 days. i'm really scared to do this because i'm a HORRIBLE swimmer. i can only tread water for like 1 minute, no lie. so what can i do in order to be able to tread water longer? because in gym class you have to tread for like 10 minutes straight! so its going to be really embarrassing if i can't tread for that long.
so basically i'm really stressing out about this. if anyone can help me at all i'd really appreciate it.
also i don't have a pool so how can i practice?
also how are some good ways to get out of swimming? i know that girls can only get out of swimming one day using the "i have my period" excuse, and if you really do ha...

Tampons & Period question

My mom won't let me use tampons, she thinks that I'm irresponsible and she's afraid that I won't take it out every 4 hours or w/e. What can i do to persuade her?..I hate pads.
Also, I didn't get my period all last month...at all. Is there something wrong with me?

im 15 years old and i would like to start modeling...my parents said they would look into agencies for me. the problem is im conserned about mmy weight i have been trying to eat healthy to lose weight and it helps that i am very active but for some reason i dont lose weight easily...
i am 5 foot 6 1/2 and i weight 138 pounds should i lose weight? does anyone have tips on how to lose weight fast?

Okayy...i have a psp...and i have a couple movie that are mp3 files...i cant put them into my psp becuase their mp3. I want to change to mp4's but i dunno how. I cant download them again...because limewire doesnt have them in mp4. And im all in for free downloads....my parents arnt gonna pay crap. Any ideas?

Hi my name is Joyce i'm 14/f. There's this boy i like alot. I kind of got over him, but now i know he likes me i like him again. So I want to add him on my myspace, but i'm afraid he'll deny me (becuse he did about a year ago when i first requested him). So my question is should I take a chance and add him? Because I don't want him to think i'm desperate or anything. And since he's in all my classes that would be awkward, and I'm afraid i'll drive him away. My boyfriend always promises me he's going to call and that we're going to hang out. I never get a call and when I do its to late to do anything. Or he will tell me to call him, and I will call, and he doesnt answer and when he does, he always says he'll call me back. Don't get me wrong, sometimes we do, but it seems theres more dont's then do's. Is it wrong for me to get upset ? I'm not mad at him, but I'm not sure, I just.. I feel upset when he doesn't call.. Is it wrong for me to feel this way ?

Sprained ankle

ok well i sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago and i have been off crutches for 1 and i love sports and i never sprained my ankle before so im new to it.Ok anyway i kinda got in to sports but im not suspose to (baskettball 4 days a week and competive volleyball on sunday ok well im 13 and a girl should i just not play and let my ankel get better or what i dont no and im comfused ....after basketball my ankel always hurts and in volleybal mu coach make me do 200 situps instead of 5 laps thanks in advance

i just got out of a relationship of 8 months with this really awesome guy i lost my virginity too & everything. he broke up with me on sunday in person. then i went home. afterwards he called on monday to tell me he didn't even want to talk to me again for a few months.. i dealt with it, and then he calls on tuesday & tells me he's sorry for treating me like crap and he wants to keep talking to me..

Ok so i realy like dis boy and we got really close and we flirted ALOT and hung out lyke 24/7. and then one day one of his friends told me that he thought that he was goin to ask some other girl out and so i got really upset and we weren't talking.So my friends told me that i should go ask him out and so i did and he said no.and now were not talking and i want to be close like we were before.wat to do?????
