How Can I Change My Mom's Mind About Getting a Nose Piercing?

I want to get my nose pierced. Not for anyone else but myself. I've done some research about it, and know about the process and affects of it and decided to approach my mom about it. She IMMEDIATELY dimissed my suggestion to get a nose piercing. She's totally ignorant of that subject and said unfair things. I'm not sure if she thinks it is trashy, but she had NO backup to her "no" answer other than..."what are people going to say in job interviews when you get oldeR? do you want a hole in your nose?" I explained that the small stud i wants leaves a very tiny hole and that it can be easily removed. She said i didn't know what i was talking about.
=/ ugh. I don't want to dye my hair or change anything like that, an...

Awkward and asking for help

oh my goodness. my period keeps flowing so fast, it wont stop. I have to keep changing the pads. does anyone know any ways to make it stop or go slower.??? I heard eating chocolate does i think? Is that true, or are there other ways?

Herpes

So my boyfriend is almost positive he got genital herpes from an ex-girlfriend. However, he hasn't been tested and he hasn't had an outbreak. We've been having sex, intercourse and oral, protected and occasionally unprotected. I'm wondering what my possible chances of catching or having caught herpes are. Thanks in advance.

soo, im getting my new spring wardrobe soonn. i live on long island. i have exspensive taste haha. abercrombie & hollister are okay, for like basics, but in my school we dont have the wedge/plan bermuda shorts/flipflop lookk. its more skinny jeans- juciy oufits-baby doll tops, solows, etc...
so my question is... do you guys know have anything cute you suggest i should get, like specifics of the things i listed above?

Red Liquid Eyeliner

I need red(preferably liquid) eyeliner for prom. The only place i can find with red eyeliner is Hottopic. I'd rather not have to order it online, but if it's necessary, I can.
If you know of any stores or websites that carry good red eyeliner (for a fair price) please let me know!

birthday party.

I'm turning 17 on May 1st. I'm going to have a birthday party this year, because I didn't get to have a sweet 16.
I've been going through so many themes, and the best one I have is a Fiesta theme. Since my birthday falls right after Fiesta! & right before Cinco de Mayo. I'm not Mexican though. But I want it to be really awesome, and just perfect.
I need some ideas.
I know there are websites out there that give you tons of ideas when it comes to making up parties. But I just would like to know first hand from someone else what good ideas would be that they experienced and what not.
Also, if you have any other awesome themes that you think would go well. Please let me know.

Okay. 15/f. I have a guy friend...and he JUST got a girlfriend. And I never really liked him in that way. But now, since he talks about her IN MY FACE...And he ALWAYS does that these days, it annoys the SH*T out of me. OH MY GOSH. I just want to go over there...and tell her off or something. (the thing is...I don't like her that much). I'm jealous. I'll say it right away. And it's an icky feeling. How does one overcome it? Ugh...it's so gross!

Long story short--My mom and I are moving into an apartment, just the two of us. She wants me to make a list of foods that I want from the grocery store. Well, I want to start eating healthier than I do now (all my step dad would buy was fatty snacks and greasy foods).
So my question is.. What are some really good healthy snacks and meals and are organic foods good?

stretched out jeans

a lot of the jeans that i own will fit and be tight when i first put them on, but as the day goes on they get all stretched out and it is so annoying. sometimes they get so stretched out that they get all baggy in but and are so big in the waist. i know it is normal for jeans to stretch a little, but does anybody know anything i can do to prevent them from stretching soo much to the point that they are too big? thanks!

Like normal i get really bad break-outs at that certain time of the month. I also get really bad i guess you can call bags and they get real dark. Are there any products out there that will get rid of my acne that won't burn my skin? and any idea's for under my eyes?
