Hey I was wondering does toning your body make you look bigger? I want to gain weight and look bigger but I am very unfit so I want to be healthy too. I have Celiac Disease so it is hard to gain weight with fast-food and junk food because I can't eat most of it, and it is hard to work out because I'm unfit and get tired easier.
Ok, so basically, can someone tell me what does toning do to your body and will it help in my situation? Also, what are some other ways to gain weight (I don't care if it is muscle or fat, I just want to put on those kilos!!)

i know how to lose weight, i exercise and all that.
but whenever i have a really good day i always end up eating crap food at the end, and can never seem to stay determined.
any ideas to help me stay focused, like things to think?

for some reason, whenever i smoke a full cigarrette by myself right after i eat, i get nauseas. one time i threw up, but i didnt think anything of it. today i got nauseas again but didn't throw up. i dont know what it is. why does my body react like this?

soo i have a line like where my pants are ony my stomach except the lines alitttle bit higher.
its from my pouch thingg :( soo im planning on losing weight so will the line get less visible or go away or will i stay there?
ANDDDD if i run and stuff are my calves gonna get even bigger, cuz i think they are too bigg already soo yeah how do i decrease calve size??!?

what kind of exercises can i do(such as situps ect) in my house to get a six pack or hard abs or anything like that
i want to get fit because mostly all i have been doing the last few months is sitting down on the computer and watching tv and occaasionally going over to my friends house
when i look at my chest i think its not very attractive for a girls point of view and the other day when i was at my friends pool party there were a few boys and heaps of girls and hardly any of them checked me out(that ive heard) but they did for all of the other guys
so what kind of things can i do to get hard abs or a six pack

so i need to lose weight, i need to feel better. ive been so tired and im sick of it. i want to look and feel better.
a few questions:
-what kind of vitamins are good for me to take everyday?
-for breakfast, what could i eat besides cereal? is there anything fast to make? i was thinking about making one scrambled egg and a glass of juice and vitamins. would that be good enough?
-what is something really healthy that i can bring to lunch, besides salad. i dont really want to bring anything to school that can spoil in my locker, just something really light that wont make me too full. and not really sandwiches either, because i get sick of that too quick.

HEY PEOPLE!
yeah, im 5'5 15 years old. And i weigh like 158, which i think is like really overweight, i would really like to be at 150, or 145. And I did this diet for 5 days like, 5 days. And it was kinda like the cabbage soup diet. It was where you could only eat all the soup and fruit you want. Well, i lost about 8lbs on it and i quit on the 5th day, because i passed out from not eating like anything, because where i was at, they didnt have anything, and i almost went to the hospital from lack of food and no sleep that night (i was with my friends the night before and got 3 hours of sleep) and now that im not on the diet. I feel extremely HUNGRY. Everytime I eat I want to eat like double of what i normally used to eat before i wen...

i am not really sstrong but i am not weak
everyone i know thinks im weak
even my teacher
me and some of my friends(who were girls) had to take some things up to a different class and a my teacher gave one of the girls more books than she gave me and she did this on purpose becuase i know she thinks im weak
what are some excercises i could do to get some better(if that is the right word) abs and pecs and basically all of my body muscles
such as sit ups and pull ups etc
and how many of those a day would i have to do for so long to get jsut the right amount of muscles so i can not have too much muscles but not look like arnold swarchnegger( i mean no critisism, he is awesome)

I'm 16/f, 5"1 and 93 pounds....sadly a 32A. If I went up to like, 105 pounds, could I conceivably increase a cup size?

so. I'm about 5'6" and I weight 128 on a normal day. But the other day when i was looking in the mirror i noticed that I have like Celluliteo on the back of my legs and i just dont' like it. It's not like really gross and horrible, but I don't like it. how can i tone the back of my thighs? I wanna make my legs a lot skinnier in general. Any adviceee is appriciatedddd

Haha, so ya. I've been really bad to myself for the past year and a half, I've gained quite a bit of weight. Just because no one has been hounding me, and my boyfriend thinks it's cute and likes it.
So anyway, I'm feeling a little dissatisfied with my body. I mean, I have a belly, and I never used to, I can't even do 5 push-ups xD.
I'm thinking I'd like to start off by losing ten pounds. Trouble is I have trouble with the whole 'diet' thing, I need a reasonable plan, otherwise I know I'll just not eat enough and be close to starving myself. How do you go about being healthy while losing weight?

okay so ive been gaining ALOT of weight lately, ever since school started. im a junior, and i used to be around 120, 125 pounds. well now im afraid to step on the scale. im not huuuuggeee, its just that i dont fit well in my pants or shirts anymore. id like to lose a lot of weight for when i go on vacations and when spring and summer roll around. ive never ever been the skinniest girl, always a little chunky, but this is getting out of hand. its making me tired all the time, all this junk food, and its honestly puting me into depression. i was fighting depression last year, but it went away once i started feeling better about myself. once school started, that just ruined it.

I am undecided on what gym to join, it's either "the Total Woman's Gym & Day Spa or L.A. Fitness". This are my doubts on both:
Woman's Gym:
Closer to my home, don't have to get on the FWY
It offers great dance and workout classes
It's all women so it is more comfortable
limited workout machines
Membership is about $10 dollars more then L.A. Fitness but it includes unlimited dance classes.
I saw two reviews online that this gym has lousy customer service.
Doesn't have the step master I love.
L.A. Fitness:
A bit far from home, I have to get on the FWY.
No good dance or work out classes.
Co-ed so I might feel a bit intimidated wi...

Okay so since the summer I've been losing weight. Before the summer I was 150 pounds. And now I'm 155 pounds except..I'm skinnier than I was before the summer, a lot skinnier. Maybe like 10 pounds. And now I'm 5 pounds more? :-/
Anyways. So since I got back from vacation I've been going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I go on the elliptical for 45 minutes every single time. Then I do 200 crunches and a few weight machines on my arms and legs. I eat healthy too and drink a lot of water. But honestly you'd think I would've lost at least 10 pounds but it really doesn't look that way. I can't get rid of my stomach, and I want a flat, hard stomach. But not abs. These 200 crunches don't do anything for me anymore. Everyone says I do s...

I'm 15, 5'6" and about 159 pounds. I've been overweight since I was a child, not from eating wrong or not being active, it's just how it happened. I started going to the gym in May, and in the past few months I've been working out a lot. I look different appearence-wise, I can see my body slowly changing, but my weight isn't really changing. It's taking a long time for my physical appaearence to change, too. I'm not eating badly, I've cut down completely from fast food and things high in calories. Can someone tell me how to lose weight faster than I am? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I am 16 years old, i weigh about 153, although its mostly in my boobs. I dont look like i weigh that much, but i do. I think it evens out well.
But, i do have some love handles and i could lose a couple pounds
I have a treadmill, and i am starting to use it. I want to do sit ups as well. I am not going to eat after 8pm, maybe something small if i do. And i am going to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day
Now, my question is...with this info and you can add some things. what would a good workout plan be for this? such as, how manytimes a week, how many sit ups, ect.
I eat healthy, so i dont need help with that :]

i've started to work out a lot more than usual because i feel my ''excercises'' aren't working. so i decided to step it up a notch. i do all the normal crunches and push ups, blah blah blah..i just want to know two things:
#1- i want to loose a substantial amount of weight. SO, what kind of exercises should I do everyday?
#2- how many calories should i set a goal for loosing everyday?
By the way im 17/f if this helps and i want to loose about 15-20 pounds. im not on a time limit but i would really like to loose it as quickly as possible. im on a healthy diet. and i really badly want to loose the ''extra baggage'' if u know what i mean.

I want to join a gym but don't know if to join a woman's gym or a Co-Ed gym.........
People tell me to join a Co-Ed gym since I might meet some guy friends but this one woman's gym offers a very good deal.........
Any suggestions?
