weight loss

Question Posted Friday December 5 2008, 5:29 pm

17/f
okay so ive been gaining ALOT of weight lately, ever since school started. im a junior, and i used to be around 120, 125 pounds. well now im afraid to step on the scale. im not huuuuggeee, its just that i dont fit well in my pants or shirts anymore. id like to lose a lot of weight for when i go on vacations and when spring and summer roll around. ive never ever been the skinniest girl, always a little chunky, but this is getting out of hand. its making me tired all the time, all this junk food, and its honestly puting me into depression. i was fighting depression last year, but it went away once i started feeling better about myself. once school started, that just ruined it.

ive tried working out, i dont know any specific good exercises to do. whatever dvds or sites that tell me to do certain things, i cant. im not flexible like they expect you to be. i want to get down to about 110 pounds.

has anyone lost a major amount of weight on here? i need some advice on what to eat, how to exercise, etc.

what types of food can i eat, besides salad because i already eat a major amount of that. i need things that i can eat in the morning, a quick breakfast. something that i can bring to school to eat at lunch besides salad. and for dinner i eat what my mom makes in a healthy proportion, around the size of my fist.

last year i was really good with not drinking pop at all, but once i drank a can i was addicted again. im finally getting back into the routine of just strictly water, and maybe a pop once or twice a week.

what are some healthy snacks, besides fruits and vegetables, that i can eat? also, what are the best fruits and vegetables to eat and snack on?

i just need to put myself of a healthy diet so i can actually get the energy to work out.

i loveee to work out, but im always so tired, so i hope eating healthy will boost my energy.

also, does anyone know exercises that i can do at home without really having to buy anything? something besides crunches and pushups, which i will do. i have an exercise bike and i go on that when i have the energy to, and a treadmill also.

ive just been really depressed and irritable, and im pushing away all my friends by being so angry all the time. i think its mainly my eating habits and me gaining weight and being tired all the time.

i just never have time to make anything for lunch or breakfast, so when i get home from school i go on a food binge and it makes me sick and i feel like im going to throw up. of course im not stupid, i know its not healthy and it needs to stop.

also, what are some good vitamins to take, im already taking viactiv chocolate chews. but should i take vitamin c, vitamin b? i dont know what is really neccessary but i want to put my body back on the right track before senior year, and i want to look and feel good.

pleassseeee help!! thanks!

Okay look,Im 14 right, and i just lost over 30 pounds.. How? Let me tell you.
I Didnt eat so much, i ate like 3 times a day, and if i got hungry in between, i just ate an apple, a cucumber,a carrot, you know all the healthy things, in the morning id have like a little sandwitch or oatmeal with some cinnabon and milk, and for dinner id have whatever myh mom was cooking [Because i was the only one in my house losing weight] but a small amount of everything she made, a night, i would have an apple and a yogurt,And i worked my ass off while working out, since you have a bike and a treadmille, Your lucky, I have also a treadmille and i went on it EVERY SINGLE DAY for 3 months, and it worked like a charm. Seriosuly but you cant be easy on yourself honestly, if you want to acheive something you need 2 work your ass off and not be a little girl, you know haha.
Id lose 300 calories on the treadmille and yeah it worked really good, Patience is the key to losing weight, and so is determination, If you dont have nor patience nor determination, then you wont be able to acheive ANYTHING ,trust me.
DO NOT, and i repeat DO NOT eat so much junk food, you could have chocalate like 2wice a week or 1 time a week, or a bag of chips,You will definetly see resutls, MASSIVE results, When i came back to school [I Was doing the whole process of losing weight during thwe summer] Everyone LITTERALY went like this :O
If you REALLY want this, LOl, which by the way i could tell you really do by the way your writing
you will keep up with the hard work , and the effor you have to put in this.
Im not going to tell you its easy because its rlly hard, If you feel tireed ,get your ass up and work hard, i used to feel REALLY REALLY tired aswell, but i REALLY wanted it so i did it ;]
Good luck and if you need ANYTHING jus write me back id be glad to help you.
Bye <3 :]
