Greetings everyone. My girlfriend (25) Just found out that her father is cheating on her all faithful mother. her parents in the late 40s. Her father is usually out of the country, but comes around like every other month, for a few days. His mistress is in the same town as his family, though, making it more painful. She's not in the other country, that is. Now, my girlfriend is so heartbroken and depressed. What is the best thing she can do. They are a black family.

Local Area Connection

In my system tray (Windows XP), I have an icon called Local Area Connection. When I hover my mouse over it, it says a network cable is unplugged. I don't use this icon, so I really want to remove it from the tray. When I right click it, it only gives me the options of viewing my Windows Firewall Options and Open Network Connections. Also, it's not listed in my Start Up folder.
Any help or ideas for removing it would be much appreciated! Thanks.

okay so im a male and im 14 and i asked this girl out and she said yes but then shes like gotten all mad and i dont know if shes mad at me she wont talk to me when i try to talk to her. so i guess its my fault. any advice on how to fix this problem.

i want to break up but can't

okay. i'll make this as short as i can. 16/f. i want to break up with my boyfriend of 3 months. he has no respect for me, he cheated on me and all he ever wants to do is makeout. he's also really pushy on sex. the only inhibition that is keeping me away from breaking up with him..is the fact that i'll feel really crappy after i do so. i've broken up with him before and i've taken him back. i can't take the crappy feeling of jealousy and heartache after breaking up with him..i don't think i can. what can i do? he's my agee

legs

i have fairly thin skin around my legs (from my ankles to my upper thighs) and it makes the veins kind of show through, and my legs have this purple-ish tinge. Since i havnt had any tan time, i dont really have a tan on my legs, if I got a tan would the purple go away a bit?? is there any other methods to make it go away (maybe even for good)??
I have a self tan cream, but I heard that self-tan creams make wherever you put it orange and streaky, is that true?

more about minors.. like since they require less courses and credits, whats the point of them? are they like backup in case you hate your major and you already have some minor stuff in another area so you can switch? whats between that and double majors?

ok so the other night a bunch of my firends were hanging out. I was flirting with one of them alot (we have been firends for years.) I don't like him it was just fun. Then my firend got all werid, shes not exactly mad at me but she wont talk to me for very long and I just know that something is wrong. She has a boyfirend who she has been with for about 10 months so its not like she liked the guy a was flirting with. I just don't know why she is upset with me and I just want things to be back to normal. She did go out with him for about a week freshman year, but i really don't think she has any feelings for him. I just don't know what to do about the situation, I asked her if something was wrong and she said no, so idk what to do.

Where to find a men's corduroy blazer??

Hey, I just finished watching Harry Potter 5 (i absolutely loved it), and Harry's wardrobe in the movie caught my eye. Specifically the dark brown-grey corduroy blazer that he wore. Can anyone tell me where I might find something similar to it for a reasonable price? I'd like to buy it as a gift for my husband.. thanks! :)

Confusing mess.

Okay, so me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months, or so, and well i already asked a question before, about my feelings sometimes being "distant", and I know this sounds bad, but for almost a year, i've liked my best guy friend.. We tried dating last year but it felt weird, so we called it off, and well now we both told each other that we never really stoped liking each other. And sometimes it's hard to think of me and my current boyfriend breaking up, but then sometimes i kinda want to, and try again with my best guy friend.. I really don't know what to do, and i know i shouldn't be thinking about this, cause i honestly do really love my boyfriend, but then sometimes i think i might love my best friend.. UGH! so confusin...

I recently downloaded some icons for my pc from deviantART.
Since I am partly computarded could someone explain to me (in easy language) how I could change all the default XP icons (yellow folders etc) to the ones I downloaded.
Possibly all together, like a theme or something?
But any help would be appreciated.

I've known this girl for almost 2 years. Last July she moved in, right after breaking up with her ex. It is my fault for starting something before she ended the last. She lived here and then went back to him. Did this for about 8 months now. Well, she has been gone for a month and a half with him. She says she knows she needs to move on. She cares for me and sees herself with me eventually. There has never been a time that we stopped calling or seeing each other. I know she cares. She even told me if we moved away it would make things easier letting go of him. Well, I have given her an ultimatum to call me Friday to discuss what we are going to do. As a girl that doesn't like being told what to do, she didn't respond. But, not ...

System tray.

I was wondering if I could change the settings somewhere so in the system tray(I think it's called that..the place where it shows the time on your computer :P) it just shows the time, and you have to press the arrow to show everything in the system tray.
Atm it shows my virus program, internet, wifi, and other stuff, but I just want the time there.
I hope that makes sense.

Moving/Switching schools

Hey,
To begin with, I have an alright school, its not the school its more the people in it. I'm not a negative person, but I have no friends in my school. You either have to be a prep to fit in, a sports person to fit, etc. You basically have to be a certain "thing" to fit into any group. I don't fit in here. So I plan to, at the end of this school year to move away. The only thing then is that if I move, what if I don't make any friends? I'm not REAlly worried, but I'm just thinking 'what if it's no better away from here?' everyone always says "there's more out there"... What do you think?
