how to get better grades in school

i usually get very gudd grades in school, but i dont really get why i dont get as high grades as some of my friends, who do all their homework and pay attention and study but dont participate much. for me, i participate a lot more than them, i do most but not all my homework, and i pay attention and never not pay attention, i dont study alot, but i do study a little(lol not more than 15 minutes 4 any test/ quiz) and i get higher grades than my friends that do study (most of the time, except 4 once or twice), and yea my teachers luv me. but i dont get why i get lower grades than some of my friends and i want to know how 2 improve. thankx plzz answer.

Depressed

I am dealing with a huge weigh on my shoulders. Last year I went through the hardest time of my life. I had been with my ex-boyfriend on and off for almost a year and a half. He moved away for school but we hook up when he would come home. I ended up pregnant and he made me feel like there was no way to keep the baby. I was in a horrible state with my hormones running wild and all the added stress of school. I was 2 months away from receiving degree. But I knew it was going against everything I believe in.
I feel totally depressed. Its been a year and I still have the pregnancy weight, I feel totally guilty for what I did. It kills me inside to think about what I did. I have no one to talk to because its such a sensitive iss...

Ipod transfer to new laptop

I just got a macbook and I am interested in putting the songs that are on my iPod onto the laptop's iTunes. How do I do this while keeping the songs on my old computer's iTunes and my iPod?

Emptiness

Hey, for almost two years i have felt this feeling of lost and helplessness. But, in the last year I lost my best friend and my on and off again boyfriend.(they did not die, but the relationships has been completely damaged) I know I am only 16, but I loved them both so much. So many things have happened in the last year, that I don't think we can ever be friends again. I am just so lost and I cannot talk to my family or my other friends. It hurts to see my ex with other people, but yet the whole time we were together i pushed him away. I became involved with alcohol and i even tried drugs. (that is how i lost my best friend, she couldn't forgive me) Please help me, i do not know what to do.

Tow boyfriends...

I've gotten myself into a tough spot. It's kind of lengthy, I apologize.
I am currently dating this one boy, and things have gotten really stale, because he hurt me a couple of times really badly, I've never been able to get over this. So as i was kind of edging away from him (for months) I found a really nice guy at work , and we started to hang around just as friends, but there was obvious sexual tension,so anyway, we kind of just ended up making out, and he (who didn't know i was dating the other boy, bad i know) asked me out,and I defintely like him so I said yes.
And here in lies the problem. How do I go about breaking up with my previous boyfriend? I'm still in highschool, before class, lunch or after class? I'm kind of ...

I'm not entirely sure if this is in the right category or not, but whatever. Is it normal to have an obsession with suicide? Not as in "I'm gunna do it, or I'm thinking about doing it." But like getting inside the head of those who do want to. Cuz it just seems so tragic to me and I kind of want to learn more about it. Understand a mind that's going through that thought process. Is that at all normal?

I don't know what to do with my hair!

Hi i have REALLY thick hair and it is naturaly curly, and I mean curly. It gets frizzy super fast. It is about shoulder length, so i want to keep it that long. I also have side bangs but they are growing out. If anyone has any suggestions or information about thining, de-frizzing, or managing super curly, frizzy, or thick hair, please write back. It would also be nice if anyone had ideas about side bangs because i like them, but they are hard to manage. And when i get my hair wet and let it air dry, or go in the pool and get out, it gets frizzy, curly, and uncontrolable soo fast. Its not very nice. Any suggestions would be wonderful!!

what are some symptoms of being pregnant ?
every pregnancy test i looked at at walmart says "you can tell 5 days before your missed period" so its too early for me to take one of those tests .
but every since me and my boyfriend had sex like my last day being on my period and he cummed in me a little bit - ive had this clearish white stuff come out on my panties everyday . my stomach randomly aches on and off . i have lost my appetite , like i dont eat as much as i normally do . i feel like im gonna throw up everytime after i eat but i never actualy throw up .
are any of those symptoms of being pregnant ?
i want to take a test but my period shouldnt be until around the 25th so the pregnanacy tests wont show up correct yet .

My brother is a little wild thing when he's ready and today when i came home, my mom told me he knocked out one of his front tooth. It looks really weird, it is COMPLETELY knocked out.

okay so i got my first serious boyfriend in december... and we dated for almost 4 months...but he was the first guy ive ever felt that way about...all the other guys from my past its never felt right which is why i would never pursue a relationship...but with this one it was different. he was so perfect.
well we broke up about a week before our 4 month because it was a long distance relationship and the stress was just really getting to him. it was really hard for me because i love him. i tried to pull myself together but i cried all the time which only led to more fights with him.
then i decided that if i cant have him as my boyfriend i still want to have him as a friend because he knows me better than anyone....

well, im 13 years old and i want a summer job but i still cant find one. ill work 3 times a week, no weekends. but the trouble is i cant find a job anywhere since im too young. i am in sunset park in brooklyn. do u know if there are any jobs around there that a 13 year old can work in?

studying tips

Please answe if you've got personal experience from highschool:
This is my first year of high school and I need some studying tips and advice and methods that worked out really great for you. I was really smart at my old school but now I can't handle all the work in highschool and studying everything we learned for 4 classes at once for exams that determine a huge chunk of our grade.
Example: I had an 86 in geography before the exam and then after it went down to a 76!
I have a 96 in French and I don't want my marks to drop down in all my classes this semester like the classes in last semester.
