hair styles

i have really thick hair, and alot of it. And I usually straighten it alot of the time, which is really time consuming because it takes like 3omin. at least to straighten it, and i like it but i need some new styles! My hair is also natural wavey. I also scrunch it when it is damp, or i pull it into a ponytail. But are there any good looking hairstyles that i could try?

Which shoe brand and style is best for daily walking/running?

I have been going through shoe brands trying to find something to fit my needs comfortably. I am aware of brands like Nike, Reebok, and Adidas for my needs. I am looking for an affordable walking/running shoe, nothing insanely outrageous in cost. I go outside a lot and walk the neighborhood for daily exercise. Some days I spend an hour or more on my treadmill at home. I really would like something with nice cushioning of my heels but am uncertain which brand and style I should be looking at.
Any advice on which shoe brand or style is best for my needs? Is there anything I should be looking for in particular when trying on shoes at department stores/shoe stores? I have heard very good thing about Nike, specifically Nike Shox, but not from very reliable sources.

Getting alittle tired of the puff puff

I can not stand smoking. i mean i really cant, my entire family was shocked when they found out that my boyfriend of over a year smoked. We have talked about him quitting, ways to quit, trying to cut down, cold turkey, patches, ect. I cant be around him for like 20 minutes every time after he smokes he has to pretty much brush his teeth and use breath strips all the time and change his clothes just to be around me. I find it weird that he is willing to do all of these things but WILL OT STOP SMOKNG. He says he has been cutting down for the last .. nearly two years.. but he really has not. He says he really does want to quit, bad habbit, bad for his heart, ME..ect. I have been to just about every "quit smoking" web site with him re...

How can I tell if I'm experiencing hair loss or hair breakage?

I am letting my hair grow out from a very short pixie hairstyle to something much longer, ideally. I haven't gotten my hair cut in three and a half months now. Lately I've noticed a lot more hair loss on my pillow and when brushing my hair (more hair buildup on the brush as well).
How can I tell if I am actually losing my hair (it falling out) or if it's just breaking off somewhere on the shaft?

During the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour Hannah Montana was singing with the Jonas Brothers "We got the Party." Then Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) was covered with a black cloth and that's when a Fake Hannah Montana came out. Who was the impostor Hannah Montana?
To me it looked like the girl had the nose of a gorilla and slightly darker skin than Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. I'm not making fun of the Hannah Montana double but I am just saying it was obviously not Miley Cyrus. I KNOW it wasn't Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus so who was it?

Sorry this is kind of a long one! I thought I graduated from a College X in May 2006. They let me walk at graduation, etc. It turns out I actually hadn't graduated--I was 3 credits shy. After "graduating" I moved twice in three months (long story) and eventually started a full-time job in October 2006. It wasn't until around Nov when someone asked me if I got my diploma that I realized I hadn't. I got some transfer credits I had from high school sent in, and my degree was conferred in May 2007 w/o me taking any more classes.
Here's the problem: I started the job I'm at in Oct '06, telling them I finished my degree before that. When I found out that wasn't true, I...didn't tell them. I was scared they would fire me on...

Shades for certain skin tones?

I would love to wear blush, lipstick and eyeshadow that look flattering on me.. but I'm not really into the whole trial and error process anymore.
Any tips with colors? I'm not sure what you'll call my skin tone.. a light olive? I've gone through about 3 shades of blush and many of eyeshadow. It just looks SO odd.
I really want lipgloss/lipstick because I can't really carry vaseline around in my pocket. I would also like to look nice for some job interviews so yeah.
I can't ask for help at a department store because they will test out products and it's like $60 for the makeup artist.

How do I avoid getting carsick?

When I go on a road trip I get very ill and vomit. I don't like to vomit, of course, so I try to avoid going on long trips. Motion sickness is awful!
My family has planned a nice vacation in a couple of weeks. The problem is that the trip will be a few hours long and I'm afraid I'll get car sick again. I always get carsick after being in the car longer than an hour so I'm pretty certain I'm going to end up ill.
How can avoid getting carsick this time?
I know there is medications to preventing carsickness but I'm not sure of the names of those medications. I know they're actually for motion sickness, but what are the names of a few affordable medications?
Is there anything else I can do besides taking medication for motion sickness?

Why did Claritin make me very drowsy?

I was staying at my dad's house and some bug kept biting me during the night. I ended up with lots and lots of very itchy bug bites that were very uncomfortable. I decided that I would purchase an allergy medication at the local Wal-Mart to help the itchiness die down.
I purchased Claritin after looking through the allergy section. They had Benadryl, Claritin, Allegra, and Zyrtec. I chose the Claritin because it was affordable and had the non-drowsy plus.
I had just woken up 2 hours prior to making it back home with the Claritin. I took it as directed and within an hour I was knocked out. I ended up sleeping for a good 12 hours straight, if not a longer. I checked the packaging and it claims that the dro...

How do I become more alert and less tired/drowsy?

I am always tired and drowsy. When I go to school, I usually nod off in a few of my classes. It's really embarrassing because I've tried many things to stay awake! The tiredness isn't good because sometimes I miss a few crucial parts of the notes I'm taking in class.
I think I'm getting enough rest every night. I usually sleep about 7 hours, maybe a little more. I don't do anything that requires a whole lot of energy early in the day so I can't understand why I'm always so tired!
I'm even tired on the weekends when school is out. I can sleep at any time of the day. I don't want to be tired anymore. It seems like I'm always trying to make room in my day for a nap to relieve the drowsiness, but it never ...
