i can hear my stomach digest food. does this happen to anyone else? its embarrassing and sounds like some other noise!

My boyfriend has this too. I've been dating him for about 2 years, and whenever we have a meal together, about thirty minutes later I hear his belly gurgling. At first I thought it was because he had a bellyache, so I asked him if he did, but he told me his belly was just digesting his meal. He's 18, and he's 5'9 and probably about 120 pounds. A lot of people can hear their belly gurgle while they're digesting. I don't think it's a problem, or that you're unhealthy, I think it's normal. Hope this helps..

I told my friend this,and she said it has happened to her many of times.
Something like that happens to me too. When i drink water,
i can actaully feel the water go all the way down my esophogas sometimes.
So,you're not alone with that 'quirk' of yours!
