what really is a fling? is like when two people just makeout and do intimate things together but not have any feelings?? or is it liek a sex-buddy, when you just meet up to have sex and leave.
thanks.
WhenIComeAround answered Thursday September 25 2008, 11:00 am: A fling comes down to a personal opinion, but whenever someone brings it up in conversation you know what it is. It depends more on context.
A fling to me is a brief period when you are with someone, for sexual reasons. That can be making out, to sex. Usually no strings attached.
LM answered Thursday September 25 2008, 9:05 am: I've always considered a fling to be a relationship that didn't get too serious. You might have dated them for a few weeks, but never got into the more serious boyfriend/girlfriend stage.
People often have a "summer fling"- they date someone exclusively for the summer, but never get past that season. [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
