I am fifteen and I have been lifting weights regularly for over a year now. The problem is I have started to look kind of like a house on stilts recently (my upper body is muscular and bulky and my lower body is defined and stringy) This is mostly because I run cross country and can't do any serious weights for my legs because it affects my running. Anyways, I was wondering if there is any way to build strength in my upper body without adding much more size. Also, I've heard from all kinds of people that serious weight lifting at a young age can stunt your growth, I'm 15, male and about 5'7", I'm ok with my height now, but I would like to grow at least another two inches before I stop. Does anyone know whether or not lifting weights is...

i love swimming so much and i heard that swimming is a good exercise to do when ur tryin to lose weight... i wanted too no how long i have too swim and wut swims i should do... i weigh about 120 and i wanna lose 20 pounds.. along w/ swimming im doing crunches.. leg squats.. leg lifts.. and tryin too watch wut i eat.. sum1 plz help meh i needa lose 20 pounds in like 4 weeks!!

i am 13...i weigh 102...and well im skinny!..but i eat ALOT and i just dont really gain any weight!..this year i am going to be a freshman..and im cheerleading..so i really want to be in great shape..and want to try exercising before my food catches up to me...any good ideas to get big nice cavs..arm muscles..and expeshalie a 6 pack!!

ok im 16 but im on my lil cousins user name. i got this big butt. nd i tried everything. cuz i dont want this big butt. cuz like in the summer time wen i wear a bathin suit its gross. i mean im not fat wutz so ever. i exercise but it doesnt seem to work. if u kno how to help me make my butt smaller than thanks.

hey my name is kate and i have a problem ...okay well i ride horses and this gives me alot of muscle in my legs and my stomach and arms and muscle is heavier then fat ..so ne ways i was at my friends house well call her "Jenna" and she saw the scale and it was kinda high for our age so she started calling me fat and stuff and i told her "jenna" look its all muscle frum riding my horse ! but she wont listen ! wut shud i do ?please help

hey.. im 14, about 5 ft. and im only 84 pounds!! most of my friends r all like.. "damn.. i wish i was you." n stuff like that. um.. i hate being this skinny, seriously.. and i can literally eat more than two or more of my friends can!! that's like.. insane lol. but.. my mutabolism.. r however you spell it.. just is too fast!! i always have trouble finding clothes that fit me well.. omg.. if any one can seriously help me to gain weight that would be awesome..thanks.. you guys are ExCeLlEnT..!!~

Does ne1 know how to make razor burn go away... i have been shavin since i was leik 8 and i just started to get razor burn really bad on my legs everytitme i shave it started liek a month ago...and i use shaving cream, new razor and everything but idk ive tried everything and it hurts, burns and itches so0o0o bad!! i shave my arms and other places to but i dont get razor burn at all just my legs!! ive tried everything water, ice, dry shaving, shavin with every razor and shavin cream there is, razorless shavin, intution, hair conditionar, soap, shampoo, baby soap, everything... guys aftershave girls aftershave...everyhting... can ne1 help me on this... liek how to make it stop or wat to use leika razor or sumn!! PLEASE HELP IT HURTS!! ( only on my legs tho) thnk u!!

hi. im like bone popping skinny and im small boned. alot of ppl call me anerexic and stuff. some ppl look at me like im sick or something and then stare at me while im eating just to see if i actually eat, which i do. what should i do?

ok, next year i will be in 7th grade and i am gonna do athletics. im kinda short for my age and dont have much muscle or anything. im not overweight, but im not exactly "strong and athletic". im afraid that next year i will make the bad teams and be one of the worst atheletes there. im not a ver good runner and im afraid were gonna have to do alot of that! i just dont wanna look stupid in front of all my other friends who are tall and long-legged and will be able to run a mile in 5 minutes, wen im bak there truggin along. does any1 no an easy way 2 get in shape without havin 2 like do hours and hours of strenuous excersise?? plz answer! :)

What would you say is a good 'diet' type of deal to go on? One that might actually work and wont make me die cuz it aint healthy or w/e. And, what do you think would be a good exercise routine, as far as like things to do everyday and such. Any help, comments, w/e are appreciated. Unless you have the 'get off your butt and computer and do something' comment, i didnt ask for smart remarks! :)

Hey, I REAALLLLYYYY need help! I'm 15/f and I've had the summer to decide between School activities OR dance company. I'm been doing jazz dance since I was 5. I did track last year and I loved it also. I really cant decide, and i have to figure it out QUICK because I have to sign up for something... these are the good and bad things I can think of for both of them:
DANCE: ive been doing it so long, I love it, performing company is AMAZING, they get to travel for competitions, it would take A LOT of dedication since i'm behind, theres no real garuntee I would get in (but theres a good chance), I would have to be dancing a minimum of 6 hours a week, even when I wanna quit id hafta put on a smile and deal
