Why are organic foods more expensive?

I am trying to eat better to lessen my risk of cancer (my mom had breast cancer and I had a teacher who had cancer too) and I was told that eating organic and natural foods were healthier. I went to the store to buy some organic foods (brands like from Kashi, Nature's Path, Horizon, Morningstar Farms, Stonyfield Farms, Organic Valley, etc.) and noticed that they cost a lot more than other food brands!
Why is organic more expensive? I don't understand why organic foods cost so much more than regular foods!
If organic is always this expensive, how does anyone afford to live on organic foods? Do people actually do that or did I get bad information about organic foods being healthier for me? I'd at least like t...

What are the symptoms of the flu?

So, I was reading some information on some medication my mom takes and it said something about flu-like symptoms.
What is considered flu-like symptoms? I just need to know what symptoms a person will have when he/she has the flu. I thought about going to Google but the only thing I'd know to type in would be "what are flu symptoms" and that wouldn't cover everything I want to know.
I know when I get the flu I don't feel well. I usually throw up with the flu and run a fever. What else could there be? And if you take this medication and experience flu-like symptoms then how do you know it isn't because you actually caught the flu?

Food from India

Ok, I need help. My boyfriend's mom just found her a boyfriend not too long ago, and he's Indian.
Well, we are all supposed to go out for dinner on Sunday at an Indian restaurant and I'm very picky when it comes to food and I've never tried Indian. My boyfriend loves it, and I don't want to offend anyone if I don't like it. So does anyone like it?
My boyfriend says they have a lot of curry, if so which do you think is better?
What is your favorite dish? and What's their best beef dish?

about a week ago, i finished my period. and ever since then, ive still been getting bad cramps, and have had a lot of brown discharge. i dont think there is any odour, but i know for sure its brown and that i have had cramps. i am sexually active, however its been a few weeks since the last time i had sex (a week before my period) does anyone have any thoughts? comments? thanks very much. any help is greatly appreciated.

Breast Cancer.

I have a weird lump in my left breast. But I am only 14. Its been there for about 1 or 2 weeks. Can you get breast cancer when you're only 14? I'm not sure, but I'm scared it might be something. Or are lumps normal? Its in my nipple, but I can't feel it when my nipples are hard..

i hope this isnt too long. anyway me and this guy usually say dirty things to each other online so we got so comfortable saying thngs that we planned to actually do things together. that day he said it would feel right to do it when he gets a new gf. i was completely fine with it because i kind of feel the same way.
b4 he said that we shouldnt do things, i always noticed him cheking me out and just standing there like looking at me and i didnt knowif he actually liked me back but he is actually really cute and im starting to like him now. the things is after that day i texted him once and he didnt respond and i wrote one comment on his myspace and he never said anything. we would talk everyday and its been 3 days since we've talked....

hi, i need some help finding some good books
im 16/f and i really love mysteries and crime books, but i also love an occasional good series.
i read a really good book a few months back, the doctor's wife. i really really loveeeed that book. does anyone know any books similar to that?
i also read a book called bones, which was another good book. im currently reading this book called on off, and another book called high crimes.
the problem is i read good books too quick, and i cant find any real good ones on my own.
