What are the symptoms of the flu?
So, I was reading some information on some medication my mom takes and it said something about flu-like symptoms.
What is considered flu-like symptoms? I just need to know what symptoms a person will have when he/she has the flu. I thought about going to Google but the only thing I'd know to type in would be "what are flu symptoms" and that wouldn't cover everything I want to know.
I know when I get the flu I don't feel well. I usually throw up with the flu and run a fever. What else could there be? And if you take this medication and experience flu-like symptoms then how do you know it isn't because you actually caught the flu?

Flu-like symptoms do not necessarily lead to having the flu, but can feel similar. The most common symptoms are muscle aches, fatigue, and loss of appetite. The flu is more severe than a common cold, and lasts longer.
