My best friends think I'm stupid

I used to be really smart, and my friends respected me for it. All A's, president of clubs, etc. I fell into a mild depression and school got put on the back burner- people lost their respect for me and I lost my confidence. I'm not sure what to do, I know it seems like a pity problem. But my best friend won't even ride in a car with me because she doesn't think I'm responsible.
How do I earn people's respect back?
Its going to take a while to return my grades back, but I feel like even if I tell people I know I'm responsible they won't believe me.

Handling embarresment?

How do you handle embarrassing situations? If someone says something that embarrasses/offends you either alone or in front of a crowd of people and its just too hard to laugh it off, how do you handle it?
I'm not good with witty comments and I hate when people know they've gotten to me. I'm at a loss, these awkward moments are starting to eat at me. Help?

I like a guy who's a grade above me and have for atleast 6 months now. We're friends, but not like best buds. Lately, it kind of seems like he's been flirty, but I can never tell, because he's so hot and cold with me. Some days it will seem like he likes me, but then other days he practically ignores me or talks to me, but not in a flirty way. He's not a player or anything, trust me, so I don't know what's going on. How can I tell what's going on in his mind and if he likes me?

Hair Style!

I have very thick hair, and sometimes it is hard to control ; Im going for a hair cut soon and I want something quite emo or indie looking. My hiar is very thick, and quite long. Past half way down of my back. I really like it that length though. Any sugestions? any pictures?

I'm a sophomore and about two weeks ago my best friend and I were walking in the hallway at school and she tells me that this senior was staring at me two days in a row and I got really excited because I had seen him looking at me once or twice before but I didnt really think anything of it. So then she would look at him in the hallways to see if he would look and he did! I was really happy and was determined to make eye contact but now...he looks away or down! Or he scratches his head or eyes, something awkward like that! I think he knows that I know he was staring at me and maybe he feels embarrased..? I dont know! I'm 16 years old, and my boyfriend is the same age. We have been dating for four months. He is not really into any sports, and when we are together we usually watch movies. My question is, what would be a good thing to get him for Christmas? Because I literally am at a loss as to what teenage guys would want.
We were flipping through channels once, and we watched part of this really funny movie. It has been an inside joke ever since. Would it be cute to get him that movie on DVD?

Basically, I'm in my first relationship :)
Anyway for the past few months, at the parties I go to...this is going to sound soooo stuck up, but I was the "it" girl. The girl who wasn't a whore, but did kiss a lot of guys. The girl that all the guys wanted to be with. I'm SO SORRY for sounding so stuck up, and I'm not conceited I promise. These guys are desperate :P
But anyway, I got asked out a lot and said no to most guys because I liked being single. But I said yes to one guy, because I really liked him. And we've been going out for a while. I think I might even love him.
Anyway, I would NEVER dump him to be single again. I'm not that horrible, and doing that would lead myself to stayi...

Alright, so this isn't really an advice question, but I guess it is. So all you have to do is tell us about the guy you are crushing on, some things about him, and why you like him.
The boy I like is super cute, brown hair with little waves and the warmest brown eyes you've ever seen. When he smiles he becomes 40 times more adorable, if that is possible. He's pretty shy, but it works for him, and he's very athletic, but I have never heard him brag about it. When we talk, he likes to ask questions and he is one of those people who can make you laugh even when they aren't trying. He's a study buddy and a good one too. He is incredibly stubborn, but I seem to be able to talk him into almost anything, even though he is yet to convince me...

ok, so there was this guy that I liked for a long time. A little while ago I decided I didn't like him anymore (even though part of me still went back to liking him whenever eye-connection was made or we talked) sometimes I still think about him, and I think I noticed that no, i'm not completely over him. I know that we've had a past for liking each other quite a bit, and then one of my friends started liking him in october.
Now, yes, they are going out. I haven't told anyone that it bugs me, just now they are bf & gf and get to do all that girlfriend boyfriend stuff I would think about.
Also I kinda like another guy now, but i'm kinda confused why I'm feeling so down.

okay so my teeth are kinda straight like only a few teeth are overlapping. but i sucked my thumb till i was 12 or 13. and so they kinda stick out but not that much. and i have a lisp and an overbite.
is there anyway i can get retainers instead of braces?!?!?
