This question may sound stupid, but I'm really confused. How do anorexic atletes lose the bulkyness of their leg/arm muscle? I know the body eats away at fat when its starved, but how does the muscle break down? Thanks.

im a female, senior at highschool, im on the hockey team.. i'm the captain, well- i have a crush on one of my teammates brothers, who is also a senior at the same highschool as me, and he is also the captain... well it used to be the typical crush that you have but can't tell him. but lately we been talking everytime we see eachother..
it's mostly like "hey drake, you're garbage at hockey! paha" then all we do is just make a playful argument on who is better.. we don't really get a chance to have that much contact, physicaLly cuz we just started to talk. last weekend, he came over with a bunch of our other friends.. and we hung out the whole night..

i just got mny tongue pierced 2 days ago. its still swollen, and i think it might be too far back? i kind of have to stick it out far to beable to see it. im not sure if this is because its swollen or not. will it look better once the swelling goes down? and how long does it take for the swelling to go down?

alrightt well it did hurt but i didnt mind it. but then after he left, i was in the shower, and i realized when i went pee it stung [like it did last time ....], and i noticed that [im not sure which part this is] the part where the pee comes out of wasn't straight ahead, it was a little crooked ... to my right. and i was concerned. is this gonna go back to normal on its own? i really really cant bring this up to my parents. :/

There this boy that i like and ive been liking him for awhile now. He knwos how much i like him and stuff. You see i have this class with him and he would talk to me and be messing around and stuff. And sometimes even flirt, but there this gurl that also likes him and he talks to her. And like at first i thought maybe he might have at least a lil feelings for me since he always flirting with me but then again i dont know. Because he talking to this other gurl and i dont kno if he likes me or if he just doing what he is doing just to play with my emotions im so confuse.

Jail bait?

In my state, the legal age of consent is sixteen. So theoretically, if I was sixteen, could I legally have sex with someone who is 18? Or would that be statutory rape? Even if there's only a two year age difference, would having sex with an 'adult' be illegal?
So could I have sex with him or am I just jail bait?

okay i have a bestfriend who is 5 about to be 16 in march and she took 2 store bought pregnancy test and the results are positive and he babies father has been in her life since october 3 and she doesnt know if she wants to keep the baby or not and he said the decision is hers wat to you think she should do

I am in 10th grade biology. I have trouble understanding it, but once someone explains it to me one on one I get it. I am looking for someone who knows biology very well who could occasionally help me with questions.

I'm just going to say this is going to be very long, so try to keep up an enjoy the ride.
Ok, so last year I was in a play at school and I fell madly in love with a guy we're going to call "Jack." Jack and I had been friends since the beginning of the year but I didn't really like him until we were working together. Sufice to say I ended up with a HUGE crush on him. In moment of foolishness I told him I liked him a lot. He took me out into the hall and explained that he could never like me like that because I was too close of a friend. Plus, his parents wouldn't let him date until he was 16. I was crushed but we still decided to be friends and have remained good friends since.

Ok so I need more things to do with my friends. I mean on weekends. Like the most we do is go to the movies and then go over to my house or something afterward. What else could we do? We've had bday parties and pool parties and some movie thing where they came over and we watched movies. I don't always want to go to the movies. Sleepovers won't really work if we want to include everyone since we have guy friends too. I don't really want to spend so much money either. We usually go to a movie where its cheap like 7 dollars. Is there anything else we can do? Thanks!

Best friends birthday

So my best friend is turning 15 in a few days. I need some ideas on what to get her or do for her. I'm only 14 so I can't go expensive since I'm not very rich. I wanted to make her something. We've been best friends for like 7 years so I wanted to do something special for her. I'm thinking of trying to make a slideshow and have some pics on there but I don't really know how I can do it. I have pics from when we were younger and pics from now. So I could use both but how should I? If there are any other ideas you have please let me know. Thanks!
