tongue piercing
i just got mny tongue pierced 2 days ago. its still swollen, and i think it might be too far back? i kind of have to stick it out far to beable to see it. im not sure if this is because its swollen or not. will it look better once the swelling goes down? and how long does it take for the swelling to go down?

I had my tongue peirced and I just made sure I took ibuprofen around the clock and didnt have to much swelling.. You also have to make sure you keep it real clean rinse with your listerine and also rinse with salt water many many times a day....It will look different after the sweeling subsides, but every tongue is different and they might of had to peirce yours a little further back because of the veins and what not in there... Give it a few more days.. Hang in there

Well it's normal don't worry.
My sister's tongue stayed for 5 days, but mine stayed for 1 week lol.
i got three piercings on my tongue, so don't worry, i'm experienced with piercings.
Just leave it, i mean u got it 2 days ago, it has to look shit.

I used to have my tongue pierced... and it took mine a couple weeks to fully heal and be 'normal'. Was it done professionally, like a real tattoo/piercing place? Because they know what they're doing and where to pierce so it looks right. Wait until the swelling goes down and it doesn't hurt, and check it out again. If you still feel that it's far back, go back to the place and talk to them about it.
