my mom is overprotective. she won't let me date until i'm 16 and stuff like that. I can't go anywhere without an adult unless I have my best 2 best friends with me and I can't watch movies uless they are PG or PG13 until she's watched them, and I hate that. I think she's overprotective because my dad died when I was 3weeks old. my little brother can do almost anything. It's not fair. How can I get her to stop being overprotective of me?

Family Problems

My dad is an obstatrician/gynacologist. Part of his job therefore requires him to be on call somtimes to deliver babies. This I am use to, usually he's on call once a week & some weekends. However, in the past year 3 people have left his practice, so there are only 2 left. Now he is on call every other night & I htink it is tearing my family apart. My mom has seemed miserable lately - she's always crying because my dad is never home. My sister & I really wish my dad would be home more often too. I know there are other families where parents aren't home all the time, but it just seems like it is making everybody miserable. We keep telling my dad to find new people for his practice, but nobody wants to come & practice in CT, b...

Okay well your going to think im a whinny little brat and need to get over it but I cant. Me and my mom have been clashing every day for like forever. And me and my dad only occasionally did. But this whole week they both have been yelling and screaming at me. Telling me to fuck off and that there going to call the cops on me. I hadn’t even done anything to them. I barely even yelled. I just broke down in tears. I’ve been crying all week straight and I don’t know what to do anymore. Im at my breaking point and I cant take anything. divorce of parents

well im now 17 and well its been at least two years since i moved in with my mum my parents divorce is still going on and well i think my childhood home is going to be sold and to be honest im really sad and i want to spend some time in it on my own my room is just as i left it with everything still in it my brother said its as though im still living there sometimes i get really down and i want to go home but i stay because i want to keep my mum happy although the other part of me says i want to go home and have my own room not sharing with my mum. But my dad ran off with a women from my primary school and he never contacted me since i left im not sure what to do? can someone please advice me i mean my mum means everything to me. Thank you

ok lets just say my dad is an immature f'n retard.. i don't hate him i just really don't like him.. well anyways I got to go to a ball tournment friday-sunday it's like 4 hours away from here and my dad is won't let me go nowhere on sundays or he'll call the cops and tell them that iw on't come.. Then have my mom put in court for not making me come then try to get me.. how could i get him not to call the cops or anything like that..?

Hey! I am 14 and my sister is 11. So i have this problem with the relation ship with my dad he seems to play favorites with me and my sister, who is younger than i am. i think that the reason for this is because she is more of a "kiss up" and i just tend to be more stubborn(like he is). For example, i did 7 hrs of work at $5 and hr. and my sister did 2 hrs at $5 at hr. and she earned more than me. Any ideas of how to get my father to treat us like eqauls.
Also are there and jobs avalible for someone 14 (besides babysitting)

I'm 17 years old and i dropped out of school and i dont have a job and i reallly want one i aplied every where and no one has CALLED ME!! All i do is sit here al day getting yelled at by my mom because i dont have a job!! But im trying!! im so depressed im just here all day and we need money so bad were almost evicted ive gained so much weight since ive been home ive been in the hospital before for trying to kill myself and i have cut marks all over my body im about to jump over the EDGE!! and i have a physicall comming up and if my doctor see's those marks im right back at the psych ward:( how do i cover those marks??

17F. Ok heres the deal. Me and this guy are sorta on the verge of starting a relationship, but he says he not ready yet. But i think its something else. I don't think that he is over his ex-girlfriend. He swears he's over her but i just don't think he is. I am 40/f and own my own home. Because he's just never got his act together I've had my brother and fiancee living with me since june 2005. They are paying rent, but i really want my space back! I've lived alone for almost 12 years (after being widowed at 29). They are getting married tomorrow.... how can i gracefully ask when they will be moving on? I've kinda put my mom up to saying... so, are you two planning on buying a house or what? but she's been ill and hasn't had the opportunity. Appreciate your advice!

this JUST happen.. i came home and EVERYTHING.. and i mean EVERYTHING in my room was completely rearranged, reorganized, stuffed in random places, moved across the room, just everything was completely wrong in my room. To make a long story short, I hate my dad. He is horrible. He does not let me go out with my friends and he has sudden outburts with me. He calls me a fucking bitch and constanly curses at me. He is extremely over pretocetive and we do not talk very much. I cannot talk to him or tell him how I feel because he will automatically not want to talk with me because no matter what, he thinks he is right.

You see, my entire family, with the (possible) exception of my father, loathes my boyfriend and makes no secret of it. KEEP IN MIND THIS IN TEXAS. my girl ("wiwi") got kicked out the house by her momma than she change her mind all of a sudden. HERE ARE THE FACTS:
I lived with my companion for over 20 years. The home we shared for most of that time was purchased for $200,000. The market value is approximately $600,000. The balance on the mortgage is about $155,000. During our time together, he paid the mortgage and utilities. He also took care of the yard. I paid for all the food, cooked the meals, cleaned the house, took care of all our animals as well as paid for their food. We had 2 dogs and now have 4 cats. This is what we had agreed upon and it was how we shared the expenses.
Recently, he passed away suddenly from a heart attack. Without my knowledge, he had a living trust prepared in which he gave everything to his 25-year-old daughter. However...
