There's this boy, James, who is my great friend. I'm in love with him, but I don't think he knows. I know that my friend Joy likes him, and I think that he likes Joy. I've been really upset about it, and I just want whats best for him, but still. But I've decided that I just need to ask him if he likes her or not before i go on crying about it. What would be a good way to go about doing that?
sometimes its hard to get him alone, if he's not, how should i get him alone and where should we go? what should i say?
i really wish that he wouldn't go out with her, but if he's going to be happiest without me, then that's what i want for him.

OK prepare yourself this is gonna be long....
is it wrong of me to like a guy that i told everyone i was over when a friend-stacy- of mine also likes him? he doesnt like anyone or so that is what he said. he doesnt know i still like him. hes my best guy friend and stacy hangs out with us and a big group of friends.
so....i liked him before and stacy knew about it. he always flirted with me but then he broke my heart when he said that he didnt like anyone. so i got over him. then stacy revealed that she likes him. that was two weeks ago. slowly i started forgeting that i was supposed to be over him already and started liking him again. but i dont know if i should.
he flirts with me too much right...

Guy..not calling/cancelling

I've been going out with this guy for a little bit; a few days ago we hung out and he said he'd call to plan something out for today (Sunday). He didn't call the past few days, neither have I..but he just left me a message that he might have to cancel plans.I can't go out today..but I don't have a good feeling about this- he hasn't kept in touch for a few days, and now he's cancelling. I just have a feeling that I shouldn't make a big deal about him, that he just takes me for granted.
What do you think about all of this? In case it matters, I'm 22. F.

i am in the 8th grade and i really like this guy who is in my class. we have been going to school together scince kindergarten. He got out of a really bad relationship like a year ago and hasn't liked a girls scince. he always gives me mixed signals its driving me nuts. I am really bad at telling some1 i like them cause it hasn't worked out before and i am scared i will lose a friendship. please help what should i do?

15/f. ok, so there's this guy who's a senior and lives about 45 min away from me, but he's kinda scared to drive on highways and so doesn't really visit me. we're really close friends and we hooked up on saturday. problem? he and my sister hate each other and my friends don't really like him either. i know my friends wouldn't care if i hooked up with him again or did anything else, but my sister would. she hates him. she started the fight that got them to hate each other in the first place and it's just so ridiculous. after he and i hooked up, she asked me about it and she knew i was lying, so she eventually got the truth out of me: we did. she told my mom and we didn't speak for a full day, the longest we've ever been mad at each other. sh...

So my boyfriend is moving to Virginia and I don't know what to do. I like him so much and he means the world to me, but I don't want to get hurt when he leaves. My friends keep telling me to break up with him now so I don't get more attached which would make it harder when he actually does leave. I see their point, but I would like to have another three months with him before he leaves. I don't know what to do. I'm so confused.

Hey im a 13/f and i have a boyfriend who is really nice and i love him to death but the thing is when we are on the phone he always talks to me and he is super nice and shares feeling with me and understands me but at school he pays absulootly no atention to me like he'll talk a little bit and hug me but when he talks to me he just says hi. And he shouldn't be embarised to talk to me im one of the populars and everyone know's we are dating so can you help??

This could get into a long story but im not going to let it.
Around my school, they guys pick on me because im kind of a pushover and dont get mad about anything.
Most guys only do that in front of their friends and when they arent in front of their friends they are totally different.

okay so ive had this boyfriend for 3 1/2 months and i love him to death. he can make me smile like no other & we have the best times together. well we got in this fight tuesday night & he didnt speak to me all day wedenseday. finally i call him DURING my tennis match & am like "you ethier stil want to be with me or not" & hes like "i dont know right now." & im like "make up your mind & if you dont have an answer when i hang up im gonna assume were over and go on with it." & he said "go ahead." so i did. anyways he messaged me on myspace the other night saying he still loves me like he did & cares for me he is just stil so mad at me and cant be with someone who wont list...

Last night my boyfriend of 7 months broke up with me. I have had other boyfriends before and the breaking up wasnt so bad. But I wasnt ready for this one. I cried for like 3 hours straight on the phone with my best friend. I finally got to sleep around 2 oclock. I am having such a hard time...I dont know what to do . I really loved him and obviously its too late to get him back now.. so please dont suggest that. What can I do to feel better. It's so horrible.. nothing this bad has ever happened to me. I'm a happy-go-lucky kind of person what will people think when I'm moping around school on monday ???
I cant eat, i cant sleep and later today I have to sit through a broadway play with my mother. I'm going to die...HE was so wonderfull..

I REALLY like this guy. I mean, he has his flaws but thats just what makes him perfect to me. I'm always thinking about him. And he's great and everything and sweet. My best friend is kinda friends with him and she tells me how nice he is. I mean if she didn't tell me what he's like then it would be just an attraction but now I know his personality, and its not an attraction its a crush.
I'll just get straight to the point. I talked to him once but it wasn't a long conversation, just a short one in the hallway. And after that he looks and smiles at me often. I like him a LOT. One of his good friends who I'm friends with told me he likes me! I was so happy but then he told me that he REALLY likes another girl, but she won't go...

i love my guinea pig. (it's like a hamster.) but i think i love her more than just like a pet. i know it's weird, but she really understands me. i can tell her anything. it's like we're made for each other or something. i need her. sometimes i cry because i know i can't REALLY be with her. i've just given up on dating all together, because i love my guinea pig. what can i do about these feelings? is this weird?
