I just read the end of The Gunslinger and The kinda catch up bit written at the start of The Drawing of the three. I was kinda confused however. I thought that Walter O Dim "THE MAN IN BLACK" was Marten.
So my question is, was the THE MAN IN BLACK Marten?
I assumed he was when the MIB said when Marten left, he didn't really leave he just changed and Roland goes " marten never left" " I oughta kill you now"

I've been with my boyfriend for 15 months. I'm a senior in high school, 17, and he's a freshman in college, 19.
Its gotten to a point where I can't bear the sight of him. I don't even want to Skype him because I don't want to bother feigning interest.
I have no idea what sparked this. I don't think I necessarily grew tired of HIM, but I found out more about him as the relationship went on that I grew to hate. He's cocky, conceited, and we want different things in the long run - he has a lot of family baggage involving a special needs sibling and he wants to live in the house he grew up in for the rest of his life; I want to marry young, him older; I don't think I could ever bear children (due to med. problems) ...

I feel like i am ugly most of the time, sometimes i feel pretty but that's only when i take my time on my make-up or hair. All my friends say i am really pretty but obviously i am not since i have never had a boyfriend. i also have a big nose i hate it and i told my mom and she said i could get surgery if i wanted to when i get older but i don't want to. but anyway i feel really ugly because no one likes me and i have never had a boyfriend and my sister always says she is prettier than me and i know that she is joking but that really makes me feel really ugly because my sister is always really pretty even without make-up and when she says that kind of stuff it make me feel like she doesn't approve of me as her sister.

Well, I've been talking to this guy lately and we aren't dating yet but we both see it heading there. He has a best friend and she is a girl. They dated for like a week a while ago and then just became best buds. I have absolutely no problem with this at all because I have some really good guy friends too. So her and I have gym together. We have never really talked. Well, we are on the volleyball unit and we got on the same team. So I was wondering what I could maybe say to her to start a conversation to talk to her more.

my parents wont let me get rides from friends

last year i had to beg my parents to let me get rides with my friends, who were older than me and had their lisences for at least a year. finally my parents said yes, and things were great, until one of my friends was involved in a car accident 2 months ago, and i was in the passenger seat. no one was hurt, but ever since then my dad wont let me get rides with my friends.
my mom is okay with me getting rides, but says we have to respect my dads wishes, so she wont talk to him about it. he wont listen to me. i got into so many fights with my parents about this, and eventually i gave up. so now i just deal with it. but its embarassing to have to get rides from my parents, and its hard to hang out with my friends. i dont like ...

Hi I'm Bailee and I'm a cutter, I am 14. I have cut for..two years and I have recently stopped. I, for the longest time, cut heavily. My arms so badly scared that I can barley fine any unscared skin. I want to know if there is a way to get rid of them so I can wear short sleeved shirts. I do realize that I'm gonna have to live with them for the for the rest of my life. I don't want any bad talk or put downs.

My kitty is ridiculously obese. Not even exaggerating, he looks like one of those photoshopped fat cats. I think he's like 27 lbs or something. Is he at risk for disease? My mum works at an animal hospital so.

Dress Prices

I'm selling two dresses, and I need some opinions on what I should ask for them.
The first is a prom dress. It's from last season (2010), and it was 500 dollars bought brand new. It was only worn once for about four hours. I'm not sure how much I should ask for this.
The second is a wedding dress. It was also only worn once obviously. It's from about six years ago and it was worth 3,000 dollars new.

Long Distance Relationship...should we see other people?

Well here is some info about our situation. I am 17 f from Canada, he is 17 m from Usa. We met on the site omegle and ever since have been talking everyday for almost 13 months. We have never met in person. we only see eachother on skype from cam and voice. We have been planning for him to come up and meet me this summer. But...we are still waiting to see if his parents are going to allow him to or not. But there is also an issue of us getting jobs in the summer as well as him gettin the money to come here. Passport and wat not he has 2 get, but hes parents havent said if he is allowed to or not yet. so 4 or 5 months we are thinking a bout meeting. Dunno if its gonna happen though, weve been waiting for an answer for 13 months pretty much. ...

Earing stuck HELP!

My earing is stuck in my ear. I can twist the earing and its fine, but my problem is the back won't come off!!!! I can twist the back but i can't push it forward or pull it backwards.
The earing as been in my ear for a while but I have never had this problem with other earings. Yea i should know better but i'm busy with work at the moment so some times i forget to change my earings.
What should i do? I tried babies oil but the back still won't budge. Should I keep twisting the back to see if it'll come off on its own? Or should I try some other liqud product? HELP!!!!!!!!!
